Bready is a community for anything related to making homemade bread!
Bloomers, loafs, flatbreads, rye breads, wheat breads, sourdough breads, yeast breads - all fermented breads are welcome! Vienesse pastries like croissants are also welcome because technically they're breads too.
This is an English language only comminuty.

- All recipes are public domain, recipe books are not. You can post any recipe invented by someone else, but you cannot post copyrighted work. That means no photos of book pages and screenshots of 3rd party web sites. Write the recipe down in text format instead.

I like mine with just a good quality butter.
It's chewy and tender. I'm really happy with it. My kid won't eat it if the crust is too hard, so I don't leave it in as long as I otherwise might.
This one is for BLTs. Going to save the heel for snacking with butter and flake salt though.
God damn I am jealous of rhat bread .
I do nothing special, really the only things I'm doing differently now vs as a beginner is using a dutch oven and higher quality flour. That and being more deliberate about hydration and timing feels like 75% of the whole skill.
Just the fact that you make your own bread is enough.
