Might just be because USAID was established so it's easier to just donate through them than to set up your own thing. Might have also been more effective since more of the money can go to the cause and less for setting up the aid.

Made some 48hr pizza but only had time to let it rise overnight. Still one of the best pizzas I ever had. The dough is just amazing. Even had a friend try making it today and he said it was so good he basically vacuumed it up.
