I was told to look at this and think about how I feel in that moment once a day to practice.

I don't find the top half of the chart relatable or repostable.

i wish they could pair these with what the body feels like. the words mean nothing, each of these slices could just as well be a random emoji to me.

You gotta start in the middle. Rn you only know "I feel bad". If you think about it (and talk with therapists ideally) you can go towards "I feel sad and a bit angry at myself for not achieving anything today and anxious about the future". And then slowly unravel that ball of bad feelings and realising the individual causes for each feeling

last therapist i went to, when i couldn't explain things in more detail than "bad", gave me a 200 page book recommendation. not so that i would feel better, but so that i could explain myself to them.

It’s called alexithymia. I have it and it sucks.

Oh I’m having a panic attack? What about? …no idea? Oh ok. Uh. Guess I’ll ride this out then.

I... mean...

Isn't that basically what rorschach tests are?

Just hold up random ink blot patterns, ask people how they makw them feel, what it makes them think about?

I hate how accurate this is. My fourth graders can’t use their own words to describe how it they feel. Like they just don’t have the equipment. THAT is disturbing. Remember folks, you can tell a lot from an, “I don’t know.”

This feels like a very good suggestion, if you ask me.
