Electric Vehicles are a key part of our tomorrow and how we get there. If we can get all the fossil fuel vehicles off our roads, out of our seas and out of our skies, we'll have a much better environment. This community is where we discuss the various different vehicles and news stories regarding electric transportation.

In an unsurprising twist, general sales across the various markets are down even more than expected in the first quarter of 2025, which means consumers are either poorer and/or holding onto their money out of fear.
Coupled with what's happening in the government, and we're sprinting towards a general recession—potentially even worse in rural areas.
Part of me wants to say "good".
I realize all the nuances and negative implications, but...I don't know. Maybe America needs to be godsmacked a little.
Note: My thoughts change hourly on this so take this with a boulder of salt.
Lower-end cars keep getting more and more expensive in the USA, meanwhile they're getting cheaper in some other countries due to competition from Chinese cars.
The tariffs certainly aren't helping consumers in the US either
Those people should probably buy a used car before tariffs put those out of reach too.
But hey it's not like you need a car to exist in America right?
And the other 1/3 wouldn't drive any EV?
