The dumping of US debt really fucked up your plan, eh Fat Hitler?

That would imply that OG Hitler was smart - that I am not so sure of

[–] [email protected] 4 points 2 weeks ago

But this hitler is so incredibly dumb, the other one is the defacto smart one by comparison

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 weeks ago

Stupid for a hitler

[–] [email protected] 8 points 2 weeks ago

Then what if the process doesn’t stop? Bonds interest keep on rising until June-July. The not independent anymore central bank intervene and the USD devaluation gets spectacular!

So this is the turning point. He now realizes tariffs are not working and he is going to sabotage his own tariffs to reverse course while pretending he's not.

Elect a moron and you get a moron. Guess he truly does represent his voters.

Well yeah the billionaires already profited on the dip that was the point. He’s been in power for 4 months or so. Let’s see how many times he tanks the economy or guts federal programs into various coffers so the rich can profit over the next 44 months (assuming that’s the end). There’s still so much untapped wealth disparity to increase

I guess those manufacturing jobs won't be coming back to the US of A. And I was looking to get rich taking a job from one of those robots screwing in those tiny screws.

[–] [email protected] 16 points 2 weeks ago (2 children)

I was hoping to marry one of the robots that will manage the robots screwing in tiny screws and thus not have to work

look at this social climber here!

My career is in automation. I'd be the one turning the screws on robots that can't turn those screws themselves.

[–] [email protected] 9 points 2 weeks ago

Aw, I was so looking forward to being a screw turner in a US iPhone factory.

Guess that's what you get with the art of the deal.

[–] [email protected] 7 points 2 weeks ago

Aaaaand, they already changed it. Fuck this dumbass administration

[–] [email protected] 7 points 2 weeks ago (4 children)

This is interesting. Who got to him?

[–] [email protected] 21 points 2 weeks ago

The Chinese, really. I have little sympathy for the CCCP, but immediately standing up to Trump's aggression was the right call.

Guaranteed Bessent or someone else said "Mr. President the populace is going to lynch you if you keep this up."

Apple and windows are good guesses

[–] [email protected] 3 points 2 weeks ago* (last edited 2 weeks ago)

Probably every angry Republican donor in the tech industry.

[–] [email protected] 6 points 2 weeks ago

Sounds like someone at Apple finally told him who was really in charge.

[–] [email protected] 5 points 2 weeks ago

Stupid is as stupid does. Oh wait.. I got that wrong. Liar is as liar does.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 2 weeks ago

AAPL gonna rocket.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 2 weeks ago* (last edited 2 weeks ago)

How about industrial parts. It’s one thing if your android or iphone doesn’t go up 200% (or whatever ridiculous number he’s chosen in the last five minutes), but how about things like car parts, machinery, or appliances?

Edit: but wait!

I don’t know wtf is goong on anymore.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 weeks ago (2 children)

What about disposable vapes? I’m really not interested in carrying around a giant douche flute to get my nicotine fix.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 weeks ago

Disposable vapes are terrible for the environment. At the least you should just go get a refillable one. They're variant the same price and a 20$ bottle of juice will last you 20x as long as a disposable while being significantly better.

You should consider reading the article that was posted for your convenience, instead of expecting to be spoonfed the answer.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

You should probably read it yourself, instead of posting a jackassy comment. Vapes aren’t mentioned in the article.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

If vapes aren't mentioned, then what does that tell you?

[–] [email protected] 2 points 2 weeks ago

That they could maybe fall under the “other electronics” category, and that my original question was a valid one.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 weeks ago

Next will be nails and screws or basic chemicals to make medication. Whichever industry cries louder and / or bribes more.
