Paul Giamatti should win an emmy simply because of how he managed to make what was perhaps the dullest and most poorly written episode of the season into one of the most engaging simply because he was on screen the entire time.

MODERATORS
I love Chris O'Dowd but Common People was awful, nearly didn't watch the rest of the season because of it.
Agreed it's was a great horrible concert that didn't have any pay off. It's like he got to the end and was like let's just kill everyone to end it.
I mean, wasn't that the point of the episode (and the show in general), that shit is so bleak you just remove yourself from the equation to end it.
Not always the show would be boring if that was the answer every time.
