One of our cats loves this tunnel. They sit up through hole looking like a Decepticon.

She knows it, too. She usually does her best "Oh, do you like me?" look, like this, when she catches you looking at her.

Ahh, chaos tubes. The best invention since the box.

She really likes boxes, too...

My cat would kill me in my sleep for that thing, it looks very fun

I wish mine could handle it but one of them pisses on any horizontal fabric thats on the floor thanks to her dogshit previous owner so I had to terminate mine :(

[–] [email protected] 2 points 2 months ago (1 children)

That sucks.

When I moved into my house we had to remove the subfloor because a previous owner would look their dog in one of the rooms and it would pee itself in there.

They did it so much pee had soaked through the subfloor, and it had rotted. It wasn't chip board or mdf that can get messed up when wet, it was 3/4" solid wood ply.

People can be so needlessly cruel to their pets.

Thought experiment: what might they have done to avoid that? I'm not on their side or anything, I'm legit curious to meditate on if shitty people always have a way or means to not be shitty and they just globally and consistently choose the wide path

I'm thinkint there are probably dog litter pads or something someone could theoretically train their dog to use if they have to work enough hours away where that becomes a concern...

Definitely a lack of empathy and I guess I would say "sense" in general, but I wonder seriously if my first impulse response to these thing is not a little ittie bit priviledged

Well putting the dog in the basement would have done less damage.

I have no idea their circumstances, but if the issue was the dog reacting to guests or something they can be put outside and trained. There are pads and stuff too if you’re going to be gone for a longer period.

It just seemed weird it was only one upstairs bedroom that had this issue, so they must have been locking the dog up in there often for some reason.

Yeah thats absolutely fair and shitty of them, there has to be a way humans have acted better and more responsibly in sim circumstances

i had a roommate with a dog who was elderly and couldn't hold it anymore, so the roommate set down training pads for the dog to go on when she was at work.

Something about this makes me think of the Flux Catpacitor.

Oh, it's an actual toy. A rare sight.

We have a multicolored one. Only downside? Gets under my feet at the most inopportune times. Cats seem to like it, so…

Got ours a tunnel and they won’t even sniff it.
