I'd hoped we were shaking buns, but we're shaking boons. Still excellent.

I'm pretty sure that's just how you pronounce "bun" in J-Popian 🤷

But does it also mean "butt"? 😉

Everything means butt if you believe strongly enough.

One of the best mashups. K-pop could open entire new horizons if they did this.

None of the groups is K-pop, one is techno metal and the other is baby metal :)

Jokes aside, the only thing baby metal has similar to Kpop is that it's an idol group, but their genre is not pop at all.

That's not quite true. In the beginning, the vocals were strictly Jpop while the instrumentals were metal with some more poppy passages.

Even now, though they've evolved a lot and one of them has even started to incorporate some false fold vocals, there's still some undeniable Jpop elements contrasting the metal.

I am aware. K-pop, however has a much larger global footprint. Could use mixing it up a bit.

This is a collaboration, not a mashup. A mashup is when a DJ takes the vocals from one song and mixes it with the beat from another song.

Showed this to my coworker. He said never show this to me again.

Show him “We got the moves” next

Sounds like he's got awful taste or is excellent at sarcasm 😉

I wanted to hit him….

…. With more “Ra ta ta ta ta ta! My body is a weapon…”

Seen both electric callboy and baby metal in the last year separately. Really interesting to see it performed by both bands!
