The only real crack for IDM is the Ali.dbg one. Rest usually don't get updated and cause issues, make sure to fully uninstall IDM before installing a new version (using: Bulk Crap Uninstaller, Revo Uninstaller, etc...)
Btw, Free Download Manager is something to consider, it's opensource, free, without any tracking/ads 🐂💩 (With integration for FireFox and Chrome or any browser based on these two.)

You are right, I've mistaken o(￣▽￣)ブ it seems they no longer shared the source code with the public around 2016 (what ever came after version 3.x) but they forgot to remove GNU-GPL from their website until 2020... still, it's the best alternative I managed to find for IDM. There's a bunch more like Motrix, uGet, Jdownloader etc... but they're too finicky for me to deal with... I would love to get some recommendation if anyone has one...
The best way to use idm would be some kind of "trial reset". It used to work great, but when I made my own money I purchased it so I don't know about the state, could still be working now

That's actually true... I'm actually thinking about buying it. But just can't ATM. That's why I've been looking for a temporary crack that'll get me through 2 months or so without the fake key message.
This page on Rentry has instructions for how to crack IDM. I've been using this method for a year now, it always works. Be sure to bookmark that page as you'll need to repeat the instructions whenever IDM updates, but the program only updates rarely so you won't even need to worry about that happening frequently.
I've been using the one from lrepacks. It's one of the trusted sites on FMHY.
I use JDownloader 2, is IDM better than jD2?
More user friendly and simple to use I would say. Speeds are great btw.
