False flag attack bankrolled by the military industrial complex incoming to drag the US into a war with Iran.

You once again make the fundamental error of overestimating how much the fascists have thought this thorough. Trump wants this to be a performative war that will make contractors money and boost anti-Islamic sentiment, but this will instead skyrocket gas prices and drag us into a brutal future of terror. This will escalate into a situation of mass casualty against a foe that fully intendeds to never surrender.

There is no one at the wheel. These decisions are made off of vibes and instincts from fascists that don't understand how instincts serve them. They're riding a wave, not designing the future. No one is really in control when the fate of the world was signed off to short-sighted selfishness long ago.

This will definitely happen, especially with the 4th of July coming up soon.

State department drumming up an environment of fear just like they did after 9/11. I'll believe it when I see it.

Duct tape? Toilet paper? Which industry will strike it richest this time? Oh just watch more of the fear box and find out!

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 weeks ago

Even better now that the box is a small pocket device that scares us constantly! So much more effective!!

Gotta get that martial law path open

This is probably just them trying to wag the dog to drum up support for their war crimes.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

No, there will be terror. Unconventional warfare is something Iran will use in retaliation, as it fits their resources and expertise.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

I'm not sure how that would work, what with America's borders essentially closed to anyone not an American citizen.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 2 weeks ago* (last edited 2 weeks ago)

Psst. The borders being closed or secure isn't reeeeally true. There's just so much coastline. And land borders. Automated scanning is imperfect, be it along a loooong border or at a loading dock.

The most effective deterrent is still to not be a dick to your neighbours. ... like, ALL your neighbours.

Isn't a 12 year old lawn cutter in charge of Terrorism now?

[–] [email protected] 4 points 2 weeks ago

That's a disservice to landscapers. A small time "entrepreneur" would better describe him.

[–] [email protected] 8 points 2 weeks ago

Totally unexpected! Who'd a thunk it!

[–] [email protected] 7 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

We've been at "heightened threat environment" since at least ICE (and associated cosplayers) being unleashed on the American public.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

That is a great point. Commit a false flag attack on an Anti-Abduction protest, scare the protestors, deny responsibility and forbid any further protests due to "security reasons" then kill anyone who decides to protest despite the ban, again for their own security.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 2 weeks ago

Pretty much. Or just lie about it

I mean, they're hardly even trying at this point
