Bush: Dealt with 9/11

Obama: Dealt with Bin Laden.

Biden: Dealt with covid.

Trump: Played golf more than any other president in history in his singular first term (which by the way, ALSO included the begining of covid), is the only president to get impeached TWICE (and did it in his singular first term), got 34x convicted for actions that occured DURING his singular first term.

And now he needs a team of security blankets behind him....one of which is his son.....to support him as he CONTINUES to destroy this country, and now the world. Hitler continues to be the single most destructive force the world has ever seen. Trump really feels like he's trying to be a contender for that crown.

I'm as dumbfounded today as I was the day after the election. HOW THE FUCK DID AMERICA ELECT THIS SHITBAG AGAIN???!!!

[–] [email protected] 39 points 2 weeks ago

Left to right, those are JD Vance, Marco Rubio, and Pete Hegseth.

[–] [email protected] 17 points 2 weeks ago (2 children)

Okay can we not glorify America's 21st century batch of war criminals?

[–] [email protected] 22 points 2 weeks ago (3 children)

The list of “American Presidents that weren’t deeply problematic as individuals” is a very short one, and I think the only one I’ve heard a good argument for is ole Jimmy Carter.

But Trump is still magnitudes more problematic than any of the other individuals listed, and it’s whataboutism like yours that led us here.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 2 weeks ago

Woo! Keep white-washing the Bush admin baby! After all, they only laid the foundational policy for every administration to follow.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 2 weeks ago

Whataboutism? What the heck? I'm saying we shouldn't glorify war criminals in response to a comment glorifying war criminals. Glorifying the people who paved the way for fascism is a very bad way to fight fascism.

I fully agree with you on Bush.

I fully disagree on Obama.

I don't fully agree on Biden, but I can see where you have points to be made for your case.

All in all kind of a mixed bag really.

[–] [email protected] 6 points 2 weeks ago

For Obama, setting aside the war on terror business and keeping Guantanamo open, enjoy. There's no definition of the word "war criminal" that doesn't include Obama.

[–] [email protected] 6 points 2 weeks ago

How the fuck does America, at all levels, continue to accept the ongoing destruction of it's values, infrastructure and reputation is beyond me.

Which one is his son? Let’s kick start the real conspiracy.

Conspiracy theory: this is Heritage Foundation steering in order to safeguard their totalitarian dictatorship in the event of Trump's death. They're making sure that his successors get their faces shown as much as possible up front to ease the transition.

[–] [email protected] 39 points 2 weeks ago

Honestly not a bad conspiracy

[–] [email protected] 7 points 2 weeks ago

I just think they're there to make sure that if he has an "episode", they can shuffle him off to bed and take over.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 2 weeks ago

I would go with Thiel and Vance.

Yes man entourage? You mean handlers.

[–] [email protected] 16 points 2 weeks ago* (last edited 2 weeks ago) (2 children)

Russian and also physical handlers. They are there to catch him if his leg braces give out from all the obesity and literal shit tumbling down his trousers.

[–] [email protected] 5 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

Russia? Are you seriously still on that nonsensical notion??

You think Russia is handling Trump to attack... a Russian client state???

Given what you consider "evidence", that laughable link and its even more ridiculous video, of course you'd believe complete nonsense.

I bet you think AIPAC is just a poor little group with no influence...

[–] [email protected] 4 points 2 weeks ago (2 children)

Who the fuck do you think is going to rebuild the Iranian nuclear sites? Russia.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 2 weeks ago

The depths of lunacy of you conspiracy theorists is endless.

It's about accountability. The buck stops with him, so he speaks alone and takes sole responsibility for the decision, and it's consequences. Trump doesn't understand that. His lackeys are there so he can blame them if it hits the fan, Iran retaliates on a US urban population, and hes left with only taco options.

[–] [email protected] 21 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

The buck stops with him, so he speaks alone and takes sole responsibility for the decision, and it's consequences.

That has literally never happened in my lifetime.

[–] [email protected] 15 points 2 weeks ago

Hey! You're not supposed to remember and analyze the actual actions of those in power! Keep your nitpicking to tone and presentation, please.

[–] [email protected] 26 points 2 weeks ago

Bwahahahahaha a fucking toddler that needs his hand held. What a messed up timeline are we living in that we ended up with insecurity hitler over here.

[–] [email protected] 23 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

I can excuse starting another war, but I draw the line at having people behind him.

I thought that was weird too. I couldn't remember another time I had seen anyone's behind the President there. So weird and pointless.

[–] [email protected] 22 points 2 weeks ago* (last edited 2 weeks ago) (1 children)

When Obama announced the passage of ObamaCare, Biden was by his side. I remember it well because just before Obama spoke, you could hear Biden on a hot mic whisper "This is a big fucking deal, Mr President."

I laughed my ass off.

[–] [email protected] 8 points 2 weeks ago* (last edited 2 weeks ago) (1 children)

Fair. I dont remember the details, but I do remember that quote. I mostly remember Obama standing there alone announcing Bin Laden's death. It was quite memorable for obvious reasons but also I was in a bar at my buddy's 21st birthday hangout, and things for rowdy.

[–] [email protected] 13 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

The night Obama announced Bin Laden's death was also the night he humiliated HitlerPig at the big Press Banquet. Some believe that was the moment that he decided to run for president. So while Obama was roasting HitlerPig in front of the world, he knew that he'd be ordering Bin Laden's killing later that evening. Interesting context.

He’s such a fucking coward and Americans elected him twice, which says something about Americans.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 2 weeks ago

By a bigger margin the second time.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 2 weeks ago

Some voted for him 3 times even

[–] [email protected] 19 points 2 weeks ago (2 children)

Trump is always surrounded by people in his White House interviews. My whole life any time the president was talking with a camera on them in the White House it was just him on screen the vast majority of the time.

Now there are also at least 5 people standing there while he sits. Sometimes I think it's a test. Will they stand for an hour? Will their face crack when he says something dumb?

The US has to make announcements about military action so often there are already traditions on how to do it. And if a president doesn't keep to them he is a weirdo.

[–] [email protected] 14 points 2 weeks ago

Being weak and scared is Trump and his followers' whole thing.

[–] [email protected] 9 points 2 weeks ago* (last edited 2 weeks ago) (2 children)

He even changed the presidential address microphones. They’ve been using dual SM-57s for decades, but I suppose they’re not good enough for him.

Trump looks kinda short in that image. Good thing little Marco is there.

[–] [email protected] 7 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

I'm legitimately sorry for singling you out on this, but fuck you and everyone else who insists on height-shaming people.

[–] [email protected] 5 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

Lol. Because calling him weak and insecure is legitimately better, morally speaking. I single HIM out for shaming, because this short, tiny handed fool, in particular, deserves all the scorn, ridicule and disdain directed his way.

[–] [email protected] 5 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

I think you're missing the point, my dude.

There are plenty of legitimate things within Trump's control that you can criticize him for.

Criticizing him for his height strongly implies you're criticizing any short person or saying that short people can't be in positions of power. I think what you mean to get at is his insecurity about his height and his childish need to make himself feel taller. That would absolutely be fair game, as those are his choices. He and others never got to choose how tall they are, just how they react to it.

But yes, fuck Trump's childish insecurities. Fucking manchild

[–] [email protected] 4 points 2 weeks ago

I know exactly what op was saying. And I'm saying, again, I single him out because of the despicable human being he is. Little Marco is his pet name for Rubio.

[–] [email protected] 7 points 2 weeks ago

I wonder if they're there to keep him in line?

Rubio in the background is kind of a surprise to me. The other two are more desperate to be noticed every day, in any way they can be

[–] [email protected] 5 points 2 weeks ago

Side note but I hate that this these are presented in counterclockwise chronological order for some reason.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

So tired of everyone stroking the Emporer's fragile ego. Dear Leader can learn to suck himself off.

[–] And009 3 points 2 weeks ago

Wouldn't need an island if he could

[–] [email protected] 3 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

Alternate take: It's an indicator that we're stepping into a very serious war.

And of course we have nothing to gain for it.
