This and Wonderwall.
Though I did learn the important bits of Wonderwall so we could burst that out when people screamed it.
/c/TenForward: Your home-away-from-home for all things Star Trek!
Re-route power to the shields, emit a tachyon pulse through the deflector, and post all the nonsense you want. Within reason of course.
~ 1. No bigotry. This is a Star Trek community. Remember that diversity and coexistence are Star Trek values. Any post/comments that are racist, anti-LGBT, or generally "othering" of a group will result in removal/ban.
~ 2. Keep it civil. Disagreements will happen both on lore and preferences. That's okay! Just don't let it make you forget that the person you are talking to is also a person.
~ 3. Use spoiler tags. This applies to any episodes that have dropped within 3 months prior of your posting. After that it's free game.
~ 4. Keep it Trek related. This one is kind of a gimme but keep as on topic as possible.
~ 5. Keep posts to a limit. We all love Star Trek stuff but 3-4 posts in an hour is plenty enough.
~ 6. Try to not repost. Mistakes happen, we get it! But try to not repost anything from within the past 1-2 months.
~ 7. No General AI Art. Posts of simple AI art do not 'inspire jamaharon'
~ 8. No Political Upheaval. Political commentary is allowed, but please keep discussions civil. Read here for our community's expectations.
Fun will now commence.

Uhura and Spock had the same energy, she improvised a song, trolling him about his attractiveness. It was like they'd been friends for long enough that she could tell him he was hawt, knowing it wouldn't really lead to anything serious.
A song about leaving a committed relationship with someone to go sow your wild oats? Troi doing some deep cut heckling here.
I remember in my senior year of highschool there was a vote to what would be the class song. I don't remember the other choices, but they decided on Free Bird. A song from 1973 about leaving a committed relationship for the class on 2010.
I had a lot of dumbasses in my class, that don't understand context or sub-context.
I mean, she intentionally chose "Night Bird" because she knew he couldn't play it. Even in the episode proper, she's was trolling masterfully lol.
As long as it's not fucking Wonderwall
There was a small bar we used to frequent, so small the only "live music" they used to have is dudes who finish their guitar lessons because it was always some little douche in a white v-neck and jeans playing an acoustic by himself. And every single time they'd play the same 10 songs and always mildly enthusiastically say "so who wants to hear some Wonderwall?"
That looks fun! Lemme try...
Oops, darn.
Fookin A.
Eh, maybe if Riker belted it out in Spanish lol.
🎵Y en conclusion, tu eres mi ilusión 🎵
As a life long guitarist that has played some larger venues in the past... I feel this in my soul.
I was that guy lol
A few of my friends were in a band in college and played at a bunch of local/regional dives. I was the light and sound guy if the venue didn't have their own, so I was at most of their shows.
It wasn't part of their set, but they did keep Free Bird up their sleeve and would play it when someone shouted it. If no one did, I'd step up and yell "Play some Free Bird!" in my most exaggerated southern drawl.
Do you give them the first four bars, or just whip right into the solo from Tornado of Souls?
You ignore it and keep playing the set. Unless it is somewhere that you're behind chicken wire and need to dodge shards of bottles.
Fun fact, this is the only conservative band or artist that could arguably be considered “good”
Riker's Bone is conservative?
No no. He's quite liberal with it.
🎵I'm as free as a bird of prey now... 🎵
And this bird, you cannot see!
FREEEEEE BIIIIIRRRRDD!
You mean this Night Bird?
Also, I'd be 'er huckleberry e'ry day o' the week, yess'm. Those painted-on wranglers & churchy gingham'd break any wild buck in half a minute flat —and keep right on walkin'. 🤯
Which Free Bird? How many are there?
The one behind your zipper, what else?
