Ackman, meanwhile, called the match a “humbling experience” on a Thursday X post, saying it gave him his “first real experience with stage fright” and that it gave him more respect for the professional players who “play for a living in front of the cameras and the crowds.”

It turns out professional athletes are actually pretty good at what they do. No shit?

I don't think amateur submarining should be ruled out just yet.

I'm only disapointed that he wasn't allowed to enter the court with 2 additional players on his side and that he didn't buy out the tennis rackets directly from opponents hand mid match.

Then we would proced to act like this is completely normal. He deserved it, right?

It's just insulting for the players who've gone through the whole teeth cutting thing. Cheapens the entire sport.

Damn, the rich assholes are getting bold, putting themselves on tv and putting a target on their backs like that.

Good.

F1 has like 4 gifted drivers and 16 heavily polished aristocrats. Losing KMag sucks.

People like Russell, Max, and Lando had daddies that bought them 20,000 hours of karting before they turned 10. I don't get why we talk about them as being goats, as being natural talents. They're literally the most manufactured talent you can buy. There's nothing natural about how those kids came up.

But at the end of the day, all the rich / psycho dads tried, and only a few kids made it, so at least they're sorta the best? The best of a shit crop but still the best.

My country produced such luminaries as Alex yoong, backed by lottery money. The govt of the time thought he was a marketable face and pushed him as a symbol of national achievement. The result? A three second gap in qualifying to a certain Alonso guy.

Plus, only one guy in recent memory literally bought a team so his son could have a go.
