Please help! I'm trying to remove this metal plate to get to my GPU for cleaning. From what I saw it had one star pattern bolt at the end of a slope connecting to the chassis, removing it loosened it a little but I don't know how to proceed. Dont want to damage anything.

Edit: I got it figured out! Had to pull a metal tab on the back as I jostled/slid the plate. Thank you!

Unplug everything to make as much room as possible. Then look for screws.

These gray clips are holding it tight here, and you will need to slide it this direction to get out from under them.

With the cords appearing to go through the plate, you shield probably disconnect someone those both to make getting in there easier and because the plate might be catching on them.

I'd just take the whole PC outside and blow it out with an air compressor, or leaf blower, at least first. Some folks just use a can of compressed air. Wear a face mask if you do this.

If more cleaning or thermal paste is necessary, then at least my step #1 will start you off with much less cleaning required.

As far as disassembly, just take your time, locate all the screws and clips, and don't force anything.
