everynoise, a list of every music genre with an example if you click on it.

[–] [email protected] 11 points 2 days ago

Just a heads up, this website is loud. So turn may want to turn down your volume before you click on anything. Very cool though!

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 day ago

yay, now I have another tool for my compulsive song categorisation. Am I the only who gets confused by metal genres? Feels like all the bands I listen to are either classified as: metalcore, prog metal or both. And what about alt-metal, is that like another name for prog?

Anyone who doesn't already have a favorite may be able to find one on Wikipedia's list of lists of lists.

Here are the Epstein Files. For those of you who have seen this comment before, my apologies. I am trying to keep this information alive. Please feel free to share. Contact me if you want provenance.

https://joshwho.net/EpsteinList/black-book-unredacted.pdf (verified pre-Bondi) Trump is on page 85, or pdf pg. 80

Trump’s name is circled. The circled individuals are the ones involved in the trafficking ring according to the person who originally released the book. These people would be “The List “ Here is the story.

https://cdn.factcheck.org/UploadedFiles/Johnson/_TrumpEpstein/_Calif/_Lawsuit.pdf here’s a court doc of Epstein and Trump raping a 13 yr old together.

Some people think this claim is a hoax. Here is Katies testimony on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gnib-OORRRo

I used to be a teacher, and I kept a list of funny names that I would use for word problems and the like. Just silly stuff like Ivan Inkling, Chris P. Bacon, Millie Peade, etc.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 day ago (1 children)

That's so cute actually. I'm imagining something like "Ivan Inkling buying 20 oranges from Chris P. Bacon but Bacon is worried that some of his oranges are radiactive worm eggs. If the probability of as orange being an egg is 0.2 what is the probabilty that Ivan really bought twenty oranges"

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 day ago

I was sadly not quite imaginative enough to consider radioactive worm eggs, but I do seem to recall Ivan Inkling opening up an ice cream shop at one point and Max E. Mum and his sister Minnie coming in to consider all the different flavor combinations they could buy.

List of Coups. Coup d'etats are so fascinating.

List of Aircraft Accidents/Incidents.

List of terrorist attacks and list of mass killings / school shootings.

I mean, to be clear, I do not condone terrorism, but like, it just so surreal to read about it, like some movie shit. Like morbid curiosity, you know what I mean?

I mean like... I went through tough shit and I never thought of killing civilians. The it's so... fascinating, like in a fucked up way. How do people even have the energy to plan all that shit? Like... me personally... I just wanna chill and watch youtube videos, movies, tv shows, maybe play video games, etc.

Oooh, give me some of the words on your words list. I have one of my own, and accordingly, will share a random selection of recent entries: "that"; "nuisance";"apotheosis"; "knobbly"; "vehement"; "perfidious"; "befitting"; "timid"; "verisimilitude"; "knack".

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 day ago

so far it's just: "fuckee", "gynephillic", "supernal" and "crushembolic". Though I must have misheard the last one cause I can't find it anywhere

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 day ago

Make sure you add Bulbous Bouffant to your list.

A Dictionary of an array of lists of lists of a class. C#

I HAD TO USE THAT ONCE BECAUSE IT WAS LEGACY CODE and I was not allowed to change it

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Holy Shit, that must have been gnarly. What was it even used for? Did they at least allow you to define helper functions?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 day ago

Linking a lot of classes together. And yes

I just learned Python so I guess [ ] is pretty cool.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 day ago

Isn't it? It's so simple but I also like the curly-brace shorthand C-like languages use.

You clearly can't tell Heads from Tail Recursion!

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 day ago

(so(its(lisp(then))))

what are your opinions on the newer lisp-like languages (clojure, janet, e.t.c)?I've heard people say they aren't real LISPs cause they don't reduce to cons cells, feels like a pontless distinction to me but I could be missing something.

The first time LinkedLists clicked for me was almost magical. I was reading Skiena's Algorithm Manual and that was honestly the best possible introduction
