It seems to be okay now but I lost a couple of lengthy replies earlier

I'm not able to post to c/news since I just get a spinner icon forever. No one else has posted there for the past day either, and there has been plenty of news since then. I've been able to post to some other communities. So something seems to be wrong specifically with c/news which surprisingly isn't a highly active community like its reddit (or should I say deaddit) counterpart.

Thanks for the update, @Ruud, although while we're on the subject of posting issues I have a problem with one particular post that I am trying to add to a community here that I moderate.

Basically, it's a long list of archived linked Reddit threads that formed the bulk of our subreddit's wiki. Each item in the list has a hyperlink that leads back to a Reddit post.

I have tried to submit it about a dozen times over the past few days and twice again since you made this post, but all I get is the little spinny wheel of eternity and the post is never successful.

Is that because of an issue with external links or something else, do you think?
