Lara Croft’s boobs had more curves in 1996

How is this news. A car can be towed for several reasons other than mechanical problems.

[–] [email protected] 55 points 2 years ago

It's not out yet and it's already been illegally parked

teslas are bad tho (even aside from them being electric cars)

Weird that we don't get inundated with posts about other shitty cars.

People like to masturbate over "musk bad"

[–] [email protected] 10 points 2 years ago

Shitty build quality for a start.

[–] [email protected] 7 points 2 years ago (1 children)

You're being downvoted, but only because you're absolutely right and you've upset the circle jerkers.

[–] [email protected] 5 points 2 years ago

You have upset then even more. Wait. Listen! You hear the “reeeeeee” in the distance? They are coming for me next. To tell me how they are autistic, have ADD, and think communism is a great idea, cause you know, gulags are super cozy.

One of those lemmy mob buzz words.

Yeah my first thought is if it's not for sale yet, then maybe this isn't a mechanical failure

[–] [email protected] 3 points 2 years ago

As it's not released, it's probably illegal (contractually) to drive it on a public road. This is likely more akin to seeing tech writers with unreleased hardware.

Reading the article would indicate the truck was towed for being parked illegally.

[–] [email protected] 51 points 2 years ago (2 children)

its not good at cyber and its not good at truck. who is supposed to buy this useless thing?

I’d’ve thought that’d be self evident.

[–] [email protected] 38 points 2 years ago (1 children)

This car reminds me so much of the one designed by Homer Simpson. Even Cybertruck as a model name makes me cringe, and this is coming from someone who quite likes the existing Tesla models.

[–] [email protected] 8 points 2 years ago (1 children)

It looks like someone drew the outline for it in crayon on a napkin, then demanded it be put into production.

[–] [email protected] 18 points 2 years ago (3 children)

I hate that I like the look of this truck. I hate everything else about it, and want to be fully on board with the hate train having fun poking at this monstrosity, but I just can’t help but have some shit taste when it comes to the look of trucks…

[–] [email protected] 15 points 2 years ago

Maybe the concept. Or edited photos from far away. Take a realistic, close-up look, and prepare to be disappointed. And the steel seems about as "fun" to take care of as a boat.

A stupid truck deserves a stupid headline, I guess?

[–] [email protected] 4 points 2 years ago

It doesn't even deserve an article.

[–] [email protected] 8 points 2 years ago

Why is this car rendered in such bad quality?

[–] [email protected] 5 points 2 years ago

Free advertising

[–] [email protected] 5 points 2 years ago (3 children)

I really don't understand why Musk insisted on bringing what should have been just a concept vehicle to market.

The Cybertruck reminds me of this but worse.

It just occurred to me that these things look sort of like the Zumwalt class stealth destroyers. Has anyone tested this thing against police radar guns? I mean it's still ugly as hell, but if it's harder for the cops to bust you for speeding...

"Tesla bad, keep buying shitty gas vehicles"

  • oil and auto makers
[–] [email protected] 20 points 2 years ago

Just FYI, there are >20 other electric car makers in the market right now. A couple of those beat Tesla by a good margin, more than half have electric cars below 40k €.

[–] [email protected] 18 points 2 years ago

My next car will be an electric car. It will not be a Tesla.

Furthermore, why are you blaming the consumer when corporations do the majority of the carbon pollution?

[–] [email protected] 14 points 2 years ago

"Tesla bad, buy better quality electric cars from other manufacturers owned by people less terrible than musk"

- Actual people

[–] [email protected] 4 points 2 years ago

Tesla is bad though. Everything about their business seems to be catered to stupid people.

Literally the only good thing must has ever done in any of his ventures seems to be releasing the Tesla plug connector to other manufacturers.

And even that I'm not convinced is good long term.
