Don't be mean. I promise to do my best to judge that fairly.

Some of these have to be trolling.

I had some supremely dumb takes as a kid and I'm glad they weren't preserved on the internet. That said, "you're not allowed to learn different languages" is certainly an opinion.

I guess at least these aren't using real names.

I refuse to believe the Netherlands/Nether Lands one is above the age of 13, or being genuine if so.

That has to be a troll...

Please....

Spain being the void makes you wonder about European history if they'd just sawed off the Iberian peninsula, BugsBunnyFlorida.gif style, circa 1600. It'd be a quieter place for sure.

The Moors migrated the strait up to the Iberia/France border to avoid unexpected inquisitions.

Isn't that the land of the lepra khans?

That's my favorite one 😄

It certainly is for me.

I'm not sure if this is funny or sad, but I'm tending towards sad.

As always if the images don't appear, try a different client or the website.

The image appears but I can't download it or view it from the original website. Odd.

Edit: I think the website was just slow. It loaded eventually.

This is great content. 😂

One thing that annoys me about lemmy is that images are always shrunk down to a certain size limit, then there's no way to expand them without opening the image in a new tab.

[–] [email protected] 9 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Working fine for me in Voyager, Thunder, Connect and Boost.

Jerboa had a funny aneurysm, though, is that the client you're using?

Desktop website. The images are there, but there's no way to expand. In particular, the main post image (rather than the ones in the post text) never expands right.

Hopefully the new UI's that people are making (shout out to /u/[email protected] with his next-ui) will fix some of these issues.

Desktop

Install imagus-- it lets you mouse over images and they'll expand. Has some zoom options etc

Looks like a good extension, but I still think lemmy should have better native support. In general, more features from RES need to make their way over.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 year ago (1 children)

And they're not linked, to make that a one-click affair.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 1 year ago

Yeah that's a bit of a faff, you need a nested link command I think.

All in all Lemmy just needs to support it better natively.

Is this satire?

Ye gods, I hope this is satire.
