They've been so well trained by the conservative propaganda machine that this doesn't even compute for them. Because Trump said no abortions. That's literally it, it doesn't really get deeper. As long as he says "yeah sure no abortions" they will follow him into oblivion. He's doing "god's will" and everything, even the existence of this country comes second to that. They do not want a free democracy, they want a Christian ethnostate.
