For what it's worth I've only really heard anybody use that phrase in the context of wanting to be able to beat other people's children too.

Probably not but It's not really relevant where I have it planted. Unless you're just being an ass and pretending like I planted it in my kitchen because that's the backdrop for the photo.

Doesn't seem to have taken off too strong yet but ah well. As for the seeds I bought them at the hardware store.
