AUSTIN, Texas - The Texas House on Tuesday voted on a bill that would exempt police officers from being charged with deadly conduct for actions taken in the line of duty.

House Bill 2436 and its companion Senate Bill 1637 would exempt law enforcement from being charged with the offense while acting in the line of duty.

Today, the Texas House passed a bill 116-25 that would prohibit children from using social media. House Bill 186 requires a strict verification process to ensure account holders are at least 18 years old.

The best PM I ever had was playing zone defense and just deflecting every possible thing that could disrupt the creative team. Let us cook for more than a sprint.

Bad ones are constantly coming up with new requests, mid-sprint adds, don't really have answers, and create more blockers than they resolve.

Don't need flashy-ness to send the right message.

Officer, please,” Randall pleaded again as he struggled to get to his feet.

Then Iversen threw Randall to the ground again. He landed on his back several feet away, but the momentum brought him back to his feet. Randall began to turn to run away from Iversen, who had already pulled out his gun and was pointing it at Randall.

Get down,” Iversen yelled as he fired one shot, striking Randall in the chest.

Randall continued to run down the street but collapsed face down. Iversen radioed for help and then tried to render medical aid, but Randall died on the pavement. The bullet had torn through his ribs, lungs and heart, according to autopsy records.

No crime.

Cop stopped him because he saw him run a red light?

Then just murdered him.

TSA says this is an optional program for travelers on domestic flights, while some foreign nationals may have to participate to be allowed on international flights.

Theoretically, there should be visible signage that notifies travelers they can proceed through airport security without doing the facial scan. In reality, not everyone will see the sign ― and it might not be in a language that a traveler understands.

I am one of the travelers who’s been agreeing to get my face scanned in airport security lines for years. But amid alarming reports of travelers experiencing bad treatment from border control officials, I’m reconsidering whether I should be submitting a face scan so easily to the U.S. government.

Lindell’s lawyer was in hot water for having filed a legal brief that was written with generative AI.

U.S. District Court Judge Nina Wang is trying to get to the bottom of how and why Lindell’s lawyer, Christopher Kachouroff, decided to file a court brief that included a large number of fabricated legal citations. In a filing made this week, Wang sought to clarify why Kachouroff and Lindell’s other lawyer, Jennifer DeMaster, had allowed such a disastrously unprofessional thing to happen.

Not just Musk, but many of the Billionaires on the list.

In a world where the average person would need to work over 4 million years to earn what some billionaires have, let's put their wealth into perspective. Choose a billionaire and spend their fortune on everything from basic necessities to luxurious extravagances.

Note: This is a thought experiment for perspective. Most billionaires don't have their net worth in liquid cash, often utilizing strategies like "Buy, Borrow, Die" for liquidity while their wealth remains in assets and investments.

Those GOSH DARN Democrats keep trying to feed and house immigrants with MY TAX DOLLARS.

Instead of putting them in cages and throwing them in prison. (AGAIN WITH TAX DOLLARS.)

Yeah, a judge will fortunately stop them with due process.

Oh wait. We don't have due process anymore.

Oh wait. They're arresting the judges.

Oh wait...

Speak for yourself. I had a security guard who watched me scan then try to run up to me when I finished to recheck my stuff.

Like dude, you watched me from the beginning.

It's always a hassle for me. Items not scanning. The machine screaming about the item not weighing correctly. The machine screaming at you because you moved your item.

It's great for quick purchases. But I'm going to a cashier if I have more than 10 items.

Worked with a guy who was obsessed with Tim Ferris and his 'Opening the Kimono' philosophy on transparency.

Dude took it really far when he pushed for nude events and "Tell All's" at our company retreat.

Later quit to run some crypto scam.

I'm not from the US so I don't know how expensive this stuff is over there, but if it really costs this much to clothe one baby for a year then fuck me and I'm shocked.

Be prepared to be shocked.
