The guys with boiling blood and instant death is one thing. The guy at the door though... probably instant as well but holy smokes way to go...

So if I already connected it, does it mean it ruined the computer?

They are selling replacements that are rated 2A:

Crazy that they have a photo of the guy, still no name to it :D

WTF are Keanu Reeves and Madonna doing there 😃

[–] [email protected] 5 points 1 year ago

Damn... that's awful..

The opposite - while "'loafing" as you refer to this posture, a cat is not puting any load on any of its limbs ergo its laying down

As fine_sandy_bottom mention

Folded is the wrong word. Not load bearing signs be better.

Objection.

It would just be SITTING on said sofa

You are not laying on the sofa unless you are vertical. If you are ON the sofa in the chair position thats sitting too.

Correct answer is sitting.

Three scenarios:

No legs folded - standing

Rear legs folded - sitting

All legs folded - laying down

Thank you so much for this extremely comprehensive answer!

This is exactly what I did

Today I found out that it's actually a lot easier to contribute to Open Street Map than I thought. There are some serious gaps in house addresses in my area and I was painstakingly using the built in browser editor in the browser.

But, you can use a FOSS app (available on fdroid) called StreetComplete that makes it a lot easier to help out filling in the gaps in your local map data.

It's really fun - kind of like Pokémon Go but you are actually making an impact 😁

Is it possible to get a nice looking overlay? Like this one: https://www.ecosia.org/map?q=lunga&coordinates=56.488247,-6.422436&placeName=Isle%20of%20Lunga

Ecosia Maps are using OpenStreetMap but the definition is so much more pleasant to look at. OpenStreetMap or Organic Maps are a lot more...technical.

Hi there,

I wanted to improve my native language dictionary (there is a lot of words missing) in OpenBoard app and I was wondering if anyone could help me out with it?

This is how it's described on their Github page, but I never used github so I'm not even sure where to start.

Dictionary creation

To create or update a dictionary for your language, you can use this tool. You will need a wordlist, as described here. The output .dict file must be put in res/raw, and its wordlist in dictionaries.

For your dictionary to be merged into OpenBoard, you must provide the wordlist you used, as well as its license if any.

Also, is this project still supported? It seems to be the best FOSS keyboard for me, but it seems the last update was a year ago.

Thanks

Last 11hrs as of now!

Is anybody interested in making something on this canvas thing?

Never participated in r/places, figured I might give it a go

Hi all,

I'm trying to make aware people of the recent Google movements to close gate the internet to their services and suggest to folks to move to Firefox.

One of my colleagues encouters this problem though:

and it doesn't happen in Chrome. Any ideas? It seems that it mostly happens when the font used on a page is sans-serif
