I just added a third disk - is this still the case? I know that one of them is a tad different. Unfortunately im not there to examine them myself and its my mom sending me the photos from home.

I got it and I did a backup - the automated scheduled backup is a paid feature as well as uploading to an FTP server, but will do at the moment - at least I have A backup just in case

Have you used it before?

And for some reason it was picked up by the Russians and they continued human tests...

Never heard of them - they are great!

I recently acquired a second hand DS216j with 6TB (SHR1 so only 3TB is usable). I moved all my Google Photos images and videos onto it, but now when I access it through QuickConnect it loads them really slow, the videos are constantly buffering and when they load they have a messed up framerate (really jittery). I have a 500 fibre connection and the station is connected to the router through an ethernet cable. Any idea how I could possibly fix this? Thanks

So I'm looking to disconnect myself from Google and their tracking (as much as possible) and I was thinking about installing GrapheneOS on my Pixel phone. I mostly use my phone for Lemmy, Signal, NewPipe and taking photos. The last one is my biggest bother at the moment. The Google Photos environment is so convenient - I take a photo, it uploads it to my Google Photos collection, and after a while, it deletes it from my phone to clear space, keeping only the cloud backup. Is there a functionality like this disconnected from Google that I would be able to implement on my GrapheneOS phone? I'm looking to invest in the Proton environment (mainly Mail and Drive) so I could use that for storage. Cheers

I have two identical WD Passports 1TB external disks - one orange one yellow (crucial information :D). On one of them, I store all my data - design files, family pictures etc. Second one, I used to use as a backup. Before formatting my macos I had an app that worked like that: I would plug both of the to my macbook, after clicking a button, it would compare orange and yellow, and whatever was on orange but was missing on yellow, it would copy that file to yellow. I could set it up, that if something was missing from orange, but was on yellow, it would also delete it from yellow (or if I wanted, it would leave it there). Now, for the love of me I couldn't remeber what it was called. It was very basic looking...

Any idea what it was, or maybe a suggestion for a similar app? It was deifnitely 100% free.

EDIT: I remember that backup option were presented like this A>>B, A=B etc.

So I think I have a basic grip on this conflict, the modern times at least, it's basically a back and fro attacks of Israel and Palestine military, about who the territory of Gaza Strip and West Bank.

But who the most legitimate claim to those lands? The region is called Palestine, and Israeli only settled there after the second world war after the land was "assigned" to them. So am I right to presume that Palestinians are the native people of this land, and the State of Israel is just trying to get rid of them?
