I pay, think, $115 per month for the privilege of being my PCP's patient. To be fair, though, there are no co-pays, she is very, very good, and I need very frequent access to my PCP due to multiple chronic health problems. So it saves me money. Still. You have to subscribe to a good doctor if you want them to be available for you.
It's called concierge care, for anyone interested.
I don't know what bees are native to your area, but you could help them out by buying some baby bees in their cocoons and releasing them when appropriate. For me in the Pacific Northwest, it's mason bees in the spring and leafcutter bees in the summer. I've got a couple little bee houses with tubes for them to nest in. And the tiny baby bees are adorable.
It's pretty sad that two of the best and most outspoken journalists in our country are comedians. But I'm grateful to have them.
