Y'all aren't really proving her wrong. I'm all for mocking people who think that countries that claim to be Marxist are all paradise, but this just ain't it
The thing is there's quite a lot I can agree with on with the politics of empires. however the really seek to simply replace one empire with another and have another global power dominate since it is their the global power instead of the liberal one. It's incredibly annoying to me because they are more imperialist than the average liberal in the know. (Global communist hegemony by force)
I have a pleasure of talking with one who isn't quite as crazy as those on .ml, but we have talked about the institutions and politics of empires and how economic systems work. I've certainly become more of a socialist and I've gotten him to see a lot of the flaws in communist countries and the only one I haven't really dispelled is Cuba. (I know relatively little about Cuba, and I think the US is a bit harsh towards them. Electoral politics makes it harder to open up to Cuba though)
We both hate Trump with a passion though. Partly because we are both queer, and also that we both hate fascists.
There's actually a /MLP/ board on 4chan. There aren't a lot of fandoms that have their own separate board, but they made that one because people were pony-posting all over the other message boards.
I'm just imagining how much logistic support they're going to need and how many people they'll have to move for this
That doesn't really have much to do with domestic stuff. I mean, every military does fucked up stuff, but at the end of the day, they're made of people and have their families. Even myself.
As a service member, I educated myself on tactics, philosophy, diplomacy, economics, culture, mental health, geography, and many other topics to understand how and why military force is used. I know it's not for democracy à la Helldivers. It's used to keep the trade going and to conduct politics through harder power.
You might be an isolationist and that's fine. But don't insult the intelligence of myself who dealt with all sorts of philosophical dilemma and educated herself and others around her
As much crap is is going on in the world right now, the US military still has some scruples. They don't just blindly follow Trump's orders. And especially wouldn't just fire into their countrymen. Trump hasn't managed to take over every institution yet. Especially the military.
Service members know how to complain and think for themselves. And if something doesn't seem right, they will clarify the heck out of it and push back. It's not the Russian military
Pushed by the Bourgeois? Gosh I wish. The reason why trans people have rights is due to years of activism and science. (And the warning power of the church)
The Bourgeois have been trying to stuff us down forever. You saw how fast some corporations dropped their LGBT flags at the first sign of trouble. They don't care about it
She is so cute!
I hope nobody was dead after the crash!
Does this actually cite the GAO's report? Or is it made up?
I love bulletin boards! They're always a good spot to find local events
Implying that trans people aren't staring down a genocide
