Unhealthy, processed food is cheaper to produce, cheaper to buy and more appealing to the consumer. Couple that with a society which is trending towards a more sedentary lifestyle and obesity rates climb. The issue is we’re seeing the results of this about 20 years too late to do anything to reverse the effects.
Should mention that I’m in the UK, but the story is a similar one; albeit currently slightly less extreme.
Anything that injects a little unpredictably into the back end of the season is fine by me. Likely penalty incoming for VER too.
Glad you like it. Part of my job is carrying out fire tests on doors; I had my camera with me to do some promo shots and took a few after the test finished. I love how industrial this one looks, reminds me of the aesthetic in Alien.
I live on the outskirts of Wrexham so I think I’m fairly well positioned to say that the town has not been transformed and is still just as much of a shithole as it was before, albeit one with a better performing football club.
I love them both but, if I’m being super-critical, then I’d say that Part II has better pacing and therefore “wins” on a standalone basis. If the new cut addresses this, then I might be open to a re-evaluation.
It’s the likely eventuality, but it’ll be a long road to get there. The beta testing is going to be wild.
I’m not sure what - if any - practical application it has, but it’s extremely impressive nevertheless.
This entire farce is the epitome of Tory mis-rule. I’m actually impressed at how pathetic it all is.
I would presume that’s imminent. Much less chance that the shares nosedive if he’s not in charge when he pops his clogs.
Good riddance either way, but unrealistic to expect this to be the end of Fox if it happens.
