Deal! I'll warn everyone about the climate crisis and we will have changed the world being warned early and the world will be saved by learning in the 80's of the danger ahead!

Fast forward 2025...

Had the thought yesterday that Ubisoft is sitting on so many Bangers for multiple Niches. R6 is in between an Arcade game and a Tactical Competitive Game, curious to see where it'll turn with X.

They have Trackmania which has like 70.000 People paying 20$ a Year to play the game and one of the best racing games on the market.

They have the best Medieval Fighting game (In my personal opinion) With For Honor and the "Art of War" tech that they under-utilize

Yet when it comes to the biggest markets they are crashing with their Far Cry's at every sauce.

Wiki def Dyson Sphere:

A Dyson sphere is a hypothetical megastructure that encompasses a star and captures a large percentage of its power output. The concept is a thought experiment that attempts to imagine how a spacefaring civilization would meet its energy requirements once those requirements exceed what can be generated from the home planet's resources alone. Because only a tiny fraction of a star's energy emissions reaches the surface of any orbiting planet, building structures encircling a star would enable a civilization to harvest far more energy. Beautiful link omg

Anyone has a Delorean on hand? I'd need to go back to 1955 and steal a book

Like a Fancy GoPro with an alternative usebase?

I really like this idea, although knowing Kodak and looking at their olders products in the 00's they would try to make an ergonomic product, but in a very specefic way to them. Kind of the Xperia route

Tupperware also is in the same position as Pyrex right mow

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 months ago

I would expect the same to be honest, with a focus on a 300~500$ Phone market

That would be a cool product to be made

You are right, it is partially incorrect. If they wanted to become as big as they where before by selling a new product with their image, what would you await from them

Tomorrow is a big event at my university. I'd like to make a fun thing where the people of the Board Game society I am in can try to find me for a riddle, kind of a Where is Waldo in a place where there is a crap tone of people to find the NPC that'll give them a Riddle (Maybe something to win? No idea how I could do that detail)

Tomorrow, I'm moving to the UK (yay!) I lived in France for 3 years, and everything has European Sockets. I've got for now one Adaptator That goes from European Sockets to UK Sockets. And I was simply wondering if it was ok to plug a 6-EU Multi-Socket into an Adapter? A 600w PC and a 2k144hz screen will be plugged in it, and maybe a lamp, and sometimes my phone charging

Have a Wonderful Day while you're at it!

Ok I think I do know the answer but I never learned it, so I want to learn it today. It's been about 1 year now we can reliably make 3nm chips, which is impressive on a scale of size. But why is is better? My theory is simply: We can make a product the same size but add more on it because it's smaller, making it stronger and faster for more complex operations. Which would mean it's not the chip that's impressive on its own, just the size of it.

Or there is something else, and I'd love to get the full explanation and understand chips better

I don't see where in the option is the button to make "Subscribe" the main choice when I open Sync, can anyone help me find it?

Hey, I've been looking at what I'm subscribed to on Lemmy and it really grim, and not really what I want from a social media. I'm into tech, but the tech subs talk about evil things companies do, a lot of linux meme and programmer humor, and it's all cool and all, piracy talking about how it's bad what certain company do. And when you go in global it's "Amercan Politics" "Elon Musk Bad" "Stealing data", "our world ending"

Recently my brother and I where bored, and I went to show him we moved to lemmy, and said we had memes and all the stuff here. And looking at top memes, it was "complaining about big tech", and "complaining on windows".

And, I miss a bit all I had on Reddit not going to lie.

So is there any active community with some positive things anywhere you'd recommend. I just feel like I'm in a bad angry environment.

Edit: Wow! If you come after, I'd truly, truly invite you to look around in the comments, people here truly changed the way I see Lemmy, its way different now! Way better!

Browsing the web and arrived to this, I must admit I'm quite disappointed by how some people are willing to discuss something without liking it from the beginning. This really paints a negative image of ergonomic keyboards. Feels like i'm watching someone review a 800$ solid copper cooler

First I'd like to say thank you for having various font and the possibility to change the size. I'm on a OnePlus font and stock I cannot change fonts so I love having choices!

I really appreciate also having access to Open Dyslexia, I've used it for multiple months personally, and have found the Atkinson Hyperlegible is really good too, and looks to the people around eying your phone a bit less alienating and easier to start using for a lot of people!

Thank you for the app and have a great day!
