Thank you! However I think "Appearance > Default View" only affects of posts on the front page or in communities, not the comments themselves. I'm not sure what the full height images toggle affects, but changing the setting also had no effect on embedded images in comments.

Embedded images take up a ton of space, and I'd love an option to hide them, or at least scale them down. I couldn't find any option for this, so my apologies if this already is a thing.

Seconding this request. Images take up a ton of space, and most times I'd rather read text comments than scroll through dozens of reaction images.
