Sure, but that isn't my question. Remove the Multiverse from the equation and look at a character like Phil Coulson.
When a character dies in a film, but lives on TV, and then TV gives them a bunch of backstory and character development, how do you bring them back to films?
I'm most curious to see how Loki is introduced to the film. It's rare that TV shows have guided the canon and the films were left out.
In the films Loki is dead. He died at the start of Infinity War and Thanos said "No resurrections".
Loki season 2 spoilers
In Loki season 2 he became the Multiverse Tree.
How do you properly introduce the character again?
TL;DR Are there too many characters for one movie?
People said the same about Infinity War and Endgame and the answer was "No". Is it a little different this time? Sure.
But these characters aren't all brand new. Maybe it's been a few (dozen) years since we've seen some of them, but it's not like people forgot who they are. Blue dude who poofs, give him one scene and everyone will know who they are again.
With so many villains we get to see what they're up to and maybe understand why they do what they do. With Muse... They just kill people. Maybe they have a message against Kingpin, but they're just killing. Two people show up and appreciate your work? Dead
I get that with a short season it feels filler, but honestly I had fun. Maybe this is the advantage of long seasons, the ability to just have fun for a minute. Alternatively maybe this episode will pay off, although I do think a deep tie in is unlikely.
I love when things are tied together. When the world crosses with others. Plus if all characters, why Kamala Khan? If it turns out to just be a one off bottle then I still had fun.
Everett K. Ross (Martin Freeman), from the Black Panther films.
Valentina Allegra de Fontaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus), from a few things but ultimately Thunderbolts.
Although these are both secondary characters, and many secondary characters aren't listed in general.
Monica Rambeau
Captain Marvel
Maria Rambeau is missing. Technically she is dead, but if we're getting Kelsey Grammer and the X-Men universe, last we saw Beast he was with Maria Rambeau (as Captain Marvel).
Any space hero
Does that include The Eternals? Either way they're all missing.
It's the exact reason you hear assholes complaining that "conservatives are censored".
Oh? Which "conservative" value was censored? Was it the bigotry?
