Not art? It doesn't even start with bread according to Irish courts.

The light green serrated leaves in the middle are a hackberry tree that was planted by a bird. They have a bad reputation, but they're fast growing, native, and provide decent shade. If this is at least twenty feet from your house, you could let it grow and have a tree there instead of a mystery shrub.

You can confirm it's hackberry by looking at the veins at the underside of a leaf. You should see three main veins starting at the base of the leaf, similar to if you held up your three middle fingers.

Do you have recommendations for fixing discoverability? I can browse by category on streaming apps, but that just shows the top ten or twenty titles. Beyond that it's search by name or scroll alphabetically.

You're right. Their "this is an LLM summary" contributed to the discussion regardless of any additional commentary.

A better way to contribute to the discussion would be to add your thoughts after "I used chat gpt to summarize the articles" instead of copying the LLM output.

Accounting and finance have never been my strong suite, but aren't debits and credits opposite by definition? Like even in this fantasy land how could this possibly make sense?

You should be able to just download the office suite installer and install what you need.

This is genuinely something that LLMs like chat gpt are pretty good at. You clearly know a lot about fitness, have some very specific issues/complaints, and already have a good starting place. I recently used it to help put together a set of exercises that are balanced and help target my specific goals (mainly to support running).

It's not perfect, but you should be able to get some decent suggestions.

That last panel where they're playing tug is just perfect. I really appreciate you formatting and sharing these.

If you want to do something about invasive species in your day to day life, plant a variety of native plants. These can be potted plants on a balcony, a whole garden, or even a lawn replacement. Not only are native plants well suited to your area, they also support native wildlife. Pollenators, birds, invertebrates, and even lizards might call your yard home.

INaturalist is another good one to try.

The user I'm thinking of has a cat themed username. They comment quite a bit, or at least they used to.

These guys usually soar quite a bit higher and are hard to photograph, but a combination of the clouds and the closer proximity gave a halfway decent shot.

I browse lemmy primarily through the local feed and mute communities I'm not particularly interested in. When a different community posts a link to a muted community, the post opens without showing any comments.

Example: I have muted the no stupid questions community. Someone posts a link to a post in that community to best of. That post opens fine and shows the correct number of comments, but no comments are visible.

This game is absolutely worth its full price of $40. The gameplay is very linear, but in a way that I quite enjoyed. The sequel, A Plague Tale: Requiem, is equally amazing. Easily two of my favorite games of all time.

When scrolling through a text post, the size and progress rate of the scroll bar varies dramatically depending on the length of the current comment. In the example below, the post body is very long, resulting in a tiny scroll bar with slow progress. Once you're down into the comments, the scroll bar is much larger and progresses faster.

Example: https://lemmy.world/post/6618261

I would like to filter comments based on keywords similar to how the post keyword filter works.

I would like to be able to block links from certain domains. For example, mute all posts leading to instagram.

Example: I would like to be able to filter out all communities that start with the word "shitty" by having a community filter for "shitty*".
