Don’t make this aardvark, please.
Had to check which community this is cos I was lowkey expecting something along the lines of „testicular degloving“
Must have been annoying to work at that bank.
This gets abused a lot by people who claim agency over what is intolerance and what isn’t. It would seem an easy and straightforward enough distinction but in reality there seems to be a lot of wiggle room.
She will still be running for reelection, though.
Wing Commander. It needed expensive hardware, like a 33MHz CPU, and some features were disabled when you had less than 1MB RAM but it was worth it. To me, there was never another one like this.
Given equal numbers and technological prerequisites I would believe that old Nazis were more dangerous. Neo Nazis are just brutal lowlifes who usually turn to a hateful ideology in order to create the illusion of being basically valuable and good but held back or even oppressed by [INSERT MINORTITY]. Old Nazis were so invested in their collective psychopathic worldview that they could regard the extermination of others as something that may be pleasant or very hard or even sad but in any way just neccessary, so it had to be done.
Among other things. I doubt that there would have been any tolerance for his teeth or his tattoos. Also, he would not have been able to convince anyone that he belongs to the same race. He would have been exterminated along with the people he detests.
In Nazi Germany, the guy in the picture would have been put in a camp before he could even raise his arm.
Maybe one day people will wake up and realize that it is somewhat odd to think you could own ideas. Intellectual property is a bullshit concept.
I hate it. I tried to like it but overall, I am appalled by it. There was one exception: The way they portrayed the relationship between Stamets and Culber was nice. However, the dumpster fire at the center of the show is Burnham. I have never seen a show try to glorify a main character like that unless there was some irony involved. STD really shoves Burnham down your throat again and again. SHE saves the day/ship/federation/universe. She is praised constantly, just in case you idiot failed to realize how magnificent she is, and, hey, did we mention, she is…ummm…SPOCK’S…SISTER!!! Yes, his sister! What? Doesn’t make sense? Shut up and love her already! Then, the plot holes. Would it have been so unbearably hard to write scripts that at least try to look consistent and logical? As for the dialogs: they are important to show how great Burnham is. I found myself skipping over most of them without missing anything important. Oh, and, then there’s Saru‘s sister piloting a fighter while Burnham‘s mom returns from the dead to join a ROMULAN order of warrior nuns. In my opinion, as personal and inconsequential it may be, this show is a big F*** YOU! to Trek fans.
