Could taking a bath in burning gasoline be dangerous?
It’s been a while since I attended Gamescom. But I can completely understand why they are dodging the Gamescom. Only the announcement of a complete new Zelda or 3D Mario could be interesting but everyone is waiting for news regarding Switch 2.
Oh and another minor feature: Can you implement opening the link of youtube links in the app directly? Or at least let me toggle it? I would love to open links in YouTube app.

I’ve got another idea for a feature: Multi-Communities.
Right now there are like 3 - 5 active gaming communities among Lemmy. I can’t browse the category “gaming” because I have to scroll through 4 different communities.
It would be a cool feature to create a user specific multi community which would be next to the favourites. By opening this multi-community you could then just scroll through all those communities.
I’m unsure if this can be done by a client or should be implemented on the server side.

- ~~Favorite communities: Will there be a possibility to have a list of your favorite communities before the list of all subscribed communities starts?~~ Current TestFlight version offers this already.
- Theme implementation / individualisation: are you planning to let the user choose between more Color schemes or even to individualise them completely? Some grey texts are hard to read while in light mode.
You did an amazing job and it feels like the most fluent app on iOS.
Sorry to hear that. I tried playing it on an older gaming rig in 1080p with a 1080 Ti.
No chance to get a stable 60fps experience even while sacrificing every gpu quality and playing it at ultra low.
I really love the game but optimisation and performance are a joke. I played it with 30fps on console and PC and it needs absurd amounts of power. Would it be even more worse with a multi release on PS5?
My intention was to provide assistance or inspiration to others, as none of them had implemented this idea so far. It serves as an example of how AI can support creative thinking. Please keep in mind that I suck at drawing and I'm not planning to submit this icon (the developer himself asked for icons not associated with Apollo, which I didn’t know when I was creating this thread).
I have already mentioned it in the thread, I’ve used AI to create this icon. I’ve tested several different AI engines and had to rewrite my idea several times.
In the end I’ve used the Apollo logo to heavily influence the outcome (because most of the descriptions led to weird looking antennas and even helmets were slightly off).
Do whatever you want. As I mentioned in the thread I created it with AI. I tweaked it after that with Affinity until I was satisfied.
I’m not the creative genius, heck I really suck at drawing. But I had this idea struck in my head how the little astronaut passes his helmet to Lemmy.

Guys, I know this won’t happen but a week ago I created this icon with AI while I was sad because we lost Apollo. I wished Christian would make a transition to lemmy but he was completely silent.
Then I found out about wefwef and I'm really glad that I can have nearly the same experience while surfing on lemmy.
Even if I'm using mostly all available Apps for iOS, the only true successor to Apollo is Voyager.
