Oh yeah that's annoying, I just search for the version on apkpure or apkmirror and usually one of those will have a standard APK I can download and select for patching.

I'm unrooted and I use revanced manager to patch YT and didn't notice anything about needing root. I use the change package name patch so I can have the official YouTube app installed side by side with the revanced version since Chromecasting only works for me in the official app.
That's hilarious, assuming they only regulate prebuilts or full kits, all you'd need to do is something like add everything from a voron parts list to your cart to get around it. I wonder if sellers would also be able to offer partial kits to bypass it too (like offering a frame kit, x axis kit, extruder kit, etc and you just add all to cart)
My go tos are
- Low(er) flow faucet aerators & shower heads (don't have to get crazy but try a few at different flows to see if you can go any lower without it being obnoxious, I stopped at 1.5gpm as the 1gpm restrictors felt like a stingy public bathroom)
- Adjust water heater to a cooler temp (at 125-130F I can still get the shower as hot as I need just by turning it close to full hot)
- LEDs in all light fixtures, I usually calculate lumens per watt to get the most efficient I can find while still having ~80+ cri and a 2700-3000k temperature (colder temperatures are usually more efficient but I'm not about living in blue light)
- IR reflecting window film for the summer and draft-reducing film for the winter
- Weather stripping to fill any drafty gaps
- Make sure HVAC filter is changed on time and not restricting air flow
- Simply let it get a bit warm in the summer and a bit chilly in the winter, use eco modes if your thermostat has it
I think the main point of replacing sms with rcs is that it would be the default preinstalled carrier-agnostic-protocol messaging app on everyone's phones. If signal could be preinstalled and be an open platform instead of using centralized servers then I think that would achieve the same thing. But because it isn't, it can't be the lowest common denominator that everyone falls back to if you and someone else don't have the same messaging app preferences.
Right now, you can say "use signal" all you want, but if you make a friend who isn't interested in installing a messaging app, you have to fall back to sms. Rcs is just about making a better fallback option that people won't refuse to download because it's ubiquitous and supported by even the default preinstalled messaging apps.
Herbicide is a subset of pesticides where the pests are herbs. You're thinking of insecticide where the pest is an insect. Pesticide is the broad term that encompasses both insecticides and herbicides.
I want to drill into my balcony to hang planters and lights, upgrade appliances like a more spacious dishwasher, induction range, and heat pump water heater. I'd like to install ir reflecting window films but that's not allowed here. I also miss having my tv wall mounted and tidy but lag bolts aren't allowed. We also aren't allowed to swap light switches for smart switches or add dimmers (maintenance is required to see the apartment for routine stuff like hvac filter changes and they would notice). I also want to be able to pull additional cat6 through the walls but that's pretty risky and if anything went wrong we could lose our security deposit. Owning would also open up the possibility of doing my own electrical work, which while it was possible to get away with minor additions in my previous rental (get a work box and cover plate and mount it where it looks like it belongs and nobody bats an eye), I would still be prevented from being able to get approvals on stuff that requires inspection and owner sign-offs such as utility diaconnect switches for battery back up. I'm lucky enough that my previous landlord was willing to sign off on fiber internet installation work but at my new place you need approval to even put up a tv antenna on your balcony.
I came here to see if anybody else had that as a wordly wise word in high school
I do use jellyfin, I run it side by side with Plex on the same Intel nuc with quick sync - both with the exact same media folders added - and I let my friends choose. I don't think a single one of them prefer jellyfin unfortunately.
Plex has a reverse proxying service and can do upnp for you so it works with dynamic IPs out of the box with no need for a domain or forwarding ports. It defaults to upnp and falls back to the Plex hosted reverse proxy which also uses a dynamically generated subdomain and gives you a free SSL cert. Granted I prefer to host my own reverse proxy anyway with my own domain (when I had a static IP I just forwarded a port and set up an A record) but out of the box Plex does make it much easier for a non technical user to hit the ground running.
No she wasn't. The name matches because the article and picture are both about the person who missed out on the scholarship because of the twerking video, but she still wasn't the person twerking in the video.
"[She] was seen dancing at a private homecoming afterparty on September 30 behind a friend who was twerking"
The person you're replying to is pointing out that they aren't showing the picture of someone who was twerking because her scholarship was revoked for being next to someone who was twerking.
I recently started ripping all my Spotify playlists using spotdl to put them on my Plex. Spotdl doesn't actually download from Spotify but uses it as a source for the metadata to tag the files but it gets the audio by matching to YouTube music and downloading from there. From there I import to lidarr for renaming / organization.
