The issue here is there are no OSHA codes to cite. The hypothetical the other chap performed was for a different state that actually has heat regulations. Op is in New York, so the only thing covering their situation is the general duty clause which is tough to enforce due to it not citing anything specific.

Los Angeles tacos, but I'd be game for a poutine taco if I ever dare to set foot in North America again.

One taco? That'll be 128 PESOs.

Edit: that's about 6€ or $7.50 USD. These must be LA tacos.

The other definitions provided here aren't exactly complete.

Tankie is a pejorative referring to authoritorian communists, specifically those who support one-party Marxist–Leninist socialist republics. It was originally coined to refer to those who defended the Soviet suppression of the 1956 Hungarian Revolution and the 1968 Invasion of Czechoslovakia, both of which involved the liberal use of, you guessed it, tanks. Over time, it has grown to encompass authoritarian leftists that support anti-western nations, e.g., Russia, China, and North Korea.

There has been increased semantic drift as, much like woke is used by the right, tankie has started to mean "leftist I don't like" in some circles.

It appears ShartDick has been huffing glue again. I've told them they can't afford to lose any more brain cells, but it's hard to kick a lifelong habit.

By their logic, you'd need to murder their parent, maybe their boss.

I'd wager they're an American, where they believe their conservative-lite Democratic party is left leaning.

This is the second time this has happened. I delete all my old posts and comments using PowerDeleteSuite. I view my profile - everything selected is gone. A few months later, it's all back. I repeat the process, verifying it's all gone. I log in today, months later, and it's back. Simply maddening.

Is there anything I can do to make it stick?
