Did one or both of those things happen to you on a United flight? Was it the same flight? Did they break your guitar over you? Did you discover your guitar was broken and went to complain and the dude behind the counter just started beating the shit out of you?
I'm locked in and would love the context.
Oh damn, really? I thought I read season 2 was a go but that was a cursory google months ago. Fuckin Netflix.
Kingdom Hearts would like a word.
My wife is shopping for a new car right now and really wants an EV. There are Tesla's all around us going for 16k-25k and some of those 2023 or 2024s.
Wild how we would've jumped on that a few years ago. Now I literally wouldn't drive one if it was given to me for free.
For most, "College" is the first 4 or so years getting a bachelor's degree. Beyond that is "Grad school" where you get Graduate degrees like PhDs, Masters degrees, and whatnot.
I only did undergrad and the degree was in acting so take what I say with a grain of salt as I am an authority on practically nothing.
Saw the movie tonight and to be fair, the main antagonist is quite literally a parody of trump. From the fake tan to the pompous blustering. They even go so far as to have him get nicked by a bullet on his cheek. It's pretty on the nose.
I use Jerboa. It's a pretty simple interface and by no means perfect, but gets the job done. Surely better than the Reddit app.
Been here since the reddit API changes two years ago, and until this post didn't realize I had joined a brand new instance. Lemm.ee is the only instance Ive used and I love it.
I've never seen drama about or by this instance, it's just a place to get your Lemmy, no judgement or gatekeeping like on some others. Welcome all!
It dawned on my that my wife and I pay 30k a year to live in our house. I made 65k last year, the most I've ever made and the amount I told myself in Highschool that if I could get a job making that I'd be set. Feels like I'm still bussing tables at fucking Texas Roadhouse.
For context, im in tech and she's in the arts. Combined we're at about 110k a year. Wild that that feels like just scraping by.
The Apple doesn't fall far from the tree, but the seed rarely grows near the rind.
Ah, I had not heard about these. Thanks for the links!
