Is it weird to sit in the front? Most Ubers are sedans, and the front seats are usually way more comfortable than the rear bench.

At 11? Christ, that is devastating.

It is worth noting that gifted education also falls under special education. The last thing this country needs is another generation whose gifted population is deprived of an appropriate education.

About 30% of eligible voters voted for this.

Impeachment is what the House does, and it is basically a formal accusation. It then goes to the Senate for conviction, which if successful results in removal.

Given that the Rs in both chambers are complicit in Trump's actions, neither of his impeachments resulted in a conviction, and he is equally unlikely to be impeached under the current Congress.

Seems that the team that was let go was an R&D branch of six people that primarily worked on gameplay/level mechanics. So clearly the game is feature complete and won't need new levels or gameplay.

Yeah, my brother is fucked. He has a felony record which keeps him from getting most jobs, and a chronic illness that keeps him from qualifying for manual labor jobs.

From my perspective, the people who are participating in this community aren't even lemm.ee members, but they are by their nature putting an undue moderation load onto the lemm.ee instance. If they absolutely want to have their own echo chamber, then they can create it on their home instance instead of taking advantage of the looser rules here.

Again, from my perspective, even if they aren't technically violating any rules now, it's just a matter of time before they start to push the boundaries. I expect this will happen sooner if a large number of users block the community, thus drastically reducing the number of people who are likely to report malicious activity who are also reading the content.

I would rather have them take their content back to thelemmy.club, lemmy.today, lemmy.lol, or lemmy.libertarianfellowship.org than continue to have it hosted here.
