He had that fetish roleplay account where he pretended to be his toddler…

Japan’s total population declined for the 15th straight year in 2023, dropping by more than a half-million people as the population ages and births remain low.

Japan’s population is projected to fall by about 30%, to 87 million by 2070, when four out of every 10 people will be 65 or older.

My sister and I shared a room at one point, and she decided to improvise a wax melt by sticking a tube a Cherry Dr Pepper chapstick to our lamp.

The smell never left the room.

There’s a deep insecurity in recognizing that there aren’t “objective right answers” to a lot of things. Language is not a law, it’s a negotiated thing. Being a trans man doesn’t sunder me completely from the existence of living as a girl, and there are contexts in which my “assigned” sec does matter. The fact that abortion is utterly illegal in my state is just as harmful and terrifying to me as it is to the cis women I know.

These are people who desperately want to feel in control of the world, and the idea that they would not be able to put a person into a category based on their immediate evaluation of their sex makes them feel a loss of control. It’s attacking something of their ways of knowing, it’s an epistemological challenge that sends them reeling.

With lesbians - it’s the gold star lesbian types. They find joy in their identities as lesbians, which is great, but they treat penis in vagina sex as a contagion. It almost “horseshoe theory”‘s back into sounding like conservative Christians. They squint at some actually good critiques of porn and the way that human sexuality is marketed, and turn into a Holy War against the Y chromosome. This is not common - but it’s a very marked type of pathology. The TERFs are the type to actually be manhaters - to post things like “it’s a girl or it’s an abortion.”

Bidets are good, decreases your TP expenses long term. Just a bit to pat dry.

Everyone’s forgetting the existence of queefs here - which does mean that one has the ability to expel gas from both holes simultaneously. Sounds like starting a lawnmower.

An important component of “Abenomics” was trying to increase the fertility rate - Japan has been infamously careening towards demographic collapse (which ya know, might be connected to getting married/having kids torpedoing a career…)

At least Abe was advocating consensual sex, I don’t know if his grandfather was so kind in Manchukuo. Abe certainly didn’t want anyone to know about what was happening in Manchukuo.

It’s almost as if the War on Drugs was being used as a pretense to up state power for years, and now we have police-military kitted out and trained (Cop City) to slaughter protesters in the street.

They shouldn’t have them at all.

It’s a huge liability issue - I guarantee every large high school in the nation has a group chat where nudes are shared.

Children should not have unsupervised internet access. It’s insane we went from the “family computer in the living room” model to 6 year olds watching porn on their iPad in the backseat of a car.

During my final, I had two students start to scream at me (like cussing me out - genuinely felt unsafe.)

I kicked them out to try to continue the final. 15 minutes later, the principal escorted them back to my room to lecture me.

The district had been sued for suspending too many students, so they just stopped imposing consequences. (One of those same students left my classroom at a point in the year to go beat up another student in the bathroom as part of a gang initiation - they got a single day of suspension.)

Oklahoma embarrassment Ryan Walters pulled a last minute switcheroo to make election denialism a state standard.

The largest “district” in the state of Oklahoma at the moment is an online virtual charter school, which has a sordid history of handing out state funds to families to purchase televisions and Christmas trees with; while considering answering a 5 question quiz the equivalent of a day of attendance.

I’m sorry if this is a very stupid question.

I can easily afford a fishing license in my state. There is a lake that has crappie, bluegill, and largemouth bass.

What steps would I need to take to catch one of these fish, clean and eat it? I’ve been fishing on like a school field trip or on private land, but just did catch and release.

Is it financially beneficial to catch and eat your own fish? If I thrift a cheap fishing rod, will I be spending less on bait than I would be on food?

Burke was not given over directly to the custody of ICE, which held ultimate determination over her fate, but to the GEO Group, a for-profit private prison contractor [my emphasis] operating 50 facilities across the United States, including the Northwest ICE Processing Center where she was sent.1 In her more than two weeks in that facility, Burke was kept in a single, large dormitory alongside 103 other detained women, given limited access to food, hygiene, and clean clothes, and unaware throughout the period when or whether she would be allowed to return home. She had been allowed early on to contact her parents (with whom she remained sporadically in touch during her detainment), and they in turn were able to reach British authorities. But while diplomatic efforts bore little fruit, Burke’s case did, in the meantime, make its way into news both in the U.K. and (to a more limited extent) in the U.S., having drawn the attention of the BBC, the Guardian, Newsweek, and, within the field of comics, Rich Johnston at Bleedingcool.com.
