I live in Germany and wanted to buy a new car 2 years ago. I live in the city in a rented apartment. I can't charge at Work, and neither at home. So I would have to use only public charging stations , the nearest is almost 2km away. Plus, public charging stations are so expensive that you pay more per km than gas for a ICE car (excluding maintenance costs obviously)

I actually wanted to buy an EV, but since I can't charge it, even though I live in a city, I couldn't

Tell that to my employer

My knowledge is very superficial, but usually government bonds are a very safe investment. It's basically how countries can even go into debt. In times of market uncertainty, you would expect that investors who sell off stocks put their money into bonds. However, investors are also selling US bonds, which means confidence in the US is waining. The US dollar is on track to losing it's place as the world's reserve currency.

This is all very bad for the US, since it also means they have to increase interests in bonds so people keep buying, which leads to more taxes since the interests on the bonds is the interest the US has to pay on their debt.

Please correct me if I am wrong

Greenland has less than 60.000 inhabitants. That will be difficult

Of course he knows. The goal is to crash the economy so the people who still have money when everyone lost theirs, i.e. the oligarchs, can buy up all these assets/companies that went bankrupt. And in the future when the markets recover, they have even more power. Losing a couple billion now is nothing in comparison to the long term gain

To add to that: Even from a purely military perspective, the intelligence gain regarding modern tactics far offsets what the US paid for it

How is the US neither of those? I don't get it

Only thing I can think of is Wake on LAN, but you would obviously need another PC/controller to control

When I was a kid, we went to our neighbor who was a small milk farmer and got raw milk basically every day. Never got sick or anything.

Can confirm that raw milk does taste different, and to be honest sometimes I miss the taste when I drink pasteurized milk now

A normal Star, which does not end it's life with a supernova, can only produce elements up to Iron with normal fusion. All other elements are produced by e.g. supernovas, which tend to produce heavier elements initially (due to the forces involved) hat decay over time.

At least that is my pseudoscience knowledge about this

And here I am, only being allowed to program in C99 (or sometimes C89)

You just have to stop thinking the US is an actual democracy and everything will make sense (or rather you will understand why nothing makes sense)
