I'm 6'4, 250 lbs. Canadian

I drive an 02 golf. Before this, a Toyota 4runner (1st gen).

I'm not trying to brag... But I think it's not a "I'm too big for anything smaller" it's a "I'm too insecure for anything smaller", aka "my dick is too small for anything smaller" syndrome.

I've recently made friends with a group of Germans who have come to Canada. I'm astonished by the practicality and industriousness I've noticed in contrast to the idiocy of most Canadians. I'm not saying you don't have any idiots in Germany. I'm just saying culturally, there seem to be some big differences.

Remember, don't let the dumbest of the world ruin your happiness.

Prost

6 months ago, it's "we want to scan all devices for CSA media", 2 months ago, "we want to scan all devices for DRM", now, "we want to scan all devices for phishing"

They're just rebranding the same thing over and over till nobody says anything... Get ready for it, guys, the end of privacy is here.

Ex commercial (sourdough) Baker here. Cast iron will be handed down to your children's children.

What we used was basic (good quality) sheet metal bread pans. Avoid coatings, or anything fancy... Sure they may do something in the short term... But... Same with pyrex. They used to be good, but quality has gone way down in the past 20 years, and you have to be real careful with them, like they're made of glass or something ;)

This is one place, where possibly the cheapest option is what will win the day. Keep it simple silly :) don't overthinking it, get something, and get baking!

I think it would be a good idea, not only would it show that you're not looking for his attention, it would set boundaries with your employer, where they may need to find ways to put you two far away from each other. Which would be healthy as well.

I understand I only have your side of the story... but I'm on your side. She cornered you, (probably because she had doubts about marrying this fellow) you told her what she needed to know, and he's being an asshole about it.

Do the right thing, go to HR

Also on vi. I don't think it's an issue. Our weather is absolutely ideal for most bug/larval growth. Someone may correct me here, but larva typically only rest dead flesh in our area. The buzzfeed stories that you hear, are excessively rare, if even close to true.

Don't worry so much about it, cats are pretty resilient, and are used to eating raw rodents and stuff.

How this helps! Nice to meet another Islander on this big ol'Lemmy!

Sorry. Autocorrect and I are having a disagreement today. Good luck with the upgrades!

Thank you for letting us know! And thank you for keeping our glorious all Canadian server in tip top.

Just put off curiosity, what is do you run the server on?

Is this an app? If so, I'm guessing it no longer works?

Canadian here. Because dentistry. Is. Sales. Not. Healthcare.

It's all about upselling you on the new toothpaste, the new treatment, the beautox injections, and spending thousands of dollars on that little imperfection.

I think the difference stands in that other parts of the world may still view dentistry mainly as a medical profession. In Canada, that's the side hustle now.

Disclaimer; I have no experience with dental profession in other countries, just my two cents on dentistry in Canada.
