Christians don’t want to hear it. Try telling them that the date of Easter changes because Constantine was a pagan, so he selected the time to correlate with the three day journey of Venus, or that Jesus’s birthdate was chosen to coincide with the Winter Solstice. See how that lands.

Good thing he removed the Director of the Office of Ethics in his second week, or someone could tell him this is unethical.

That article is pretty out of date, having been written in September 2024. This is from the AP last week:

Population growth, hurricanes and a vicious citrus greening disease have left the Florida orange industry reeling. Consumers are drinking less orange juice, citrus growers are folding up their operations in the state and the major juice company Tropicana is struggling to stay afloat. With huge numbers of people moving into Florida’s orange growing areas, developers are increasingly building homes on what were once orange groves.

As Trump continues his aggressive trade isolationism through tariff tantrums, the world edges closer to trade with the Renminbi.

I haven’t used it since 2014, but it worked well for me when I did. I met some fascinating women through that app. Some of whom I’d never have crossed paths with otherwise.

This is beautiful.

Unfortunately, we know the truth. Tesla managers are committing insurance fraud to combat the waning sales from peaceful protests and boycotts. We all agree, so there’s really no need to discuss it any further.

Paul Dans, the ousted director of Project 2025, says he’s delighted that Trump is implementing his agenda after all.

The United States was added Sunday to the CIVICUS Monitor Watchlist, a research tool that publicizes the status of freedoms and threats to civil liberties worldwide.

Tech billionaire Elon Musk agreed on March 2 with a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, for the U.S. to exit NATO and the U.N.

"I agree," he wrote in response to a post from a right-wing political commentator saying "it's time" for the U.S. to leave NATO and the U.N.

The news comes after several Republican lawmakers submitted a bill on the U.S. exit from the U.N., claiming that the organization does not align with the Trump administration's "America First" agenda.

The U.S. was among several countries, including Russia, Belarus, Israel, and Hungary, that voted against a U.N. resolution at the end of February condemning Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

Both NATO and the U.N. were founded by the U.S. and other victors of World War II to promote diplomacy and cooperation between nations as well as to prevent another global war.

Musk, an unelected official, currently heads the so-called U.S. Department of Government Efficiency, which has cut significant amounts of government spending, including life-saving foreign aid.

U.S. President Donald Trump has repeatedly criticized fellow NATO countries for their perceived lack of contributions to the military alliance and has called for a spending target of 5% of GDP for all members.

Kyiv sees NATO membership as a crucial safeguard against future Russian aggression, but Trump said in February that Ukraine "can forget" about joining the alliance, suggesting its bid was a trigger for the war—an argument echoed by Russian state propaganda.

Republicans didn’t cut social programs (yet). They did, however, obstruct the rules that would prohibit them from cutting social programs.

President Donald Trump fired Chair of the Joint Chiefs Gen. C.Q. Brown on Friday night, and said he intends to dismiss the Navy’s top admiral and the Air Force’s second in command — an unprecedented shakeup of the Pentagon’s top brass that will trigger ripple effects throughout the military.

Trump, in a Truth Social post, said he was nominating retired Air Force Lt. Gen. Dan “Razin” Caine to take Brown’s place. Caine is a partner at Shield Capital, a venture capital firm.

Trump also has claimed Caine donned a ‘MAGA’ hat during their 2018 meeting in Iraq, which is against military regulations.

The White House on Tuesday afternoon posted a video online showing immigrants in shackles being prepared to board a deportation flight from Seattle.

The video includes footage of a set of handcuffs and chains jingling as they are pulled from a basket containing other shackles and then laid out on the airport tarmac next to four other sets of restraints.

The X post by the White House is titled, “ASMR: Illegal Alien Deportation Flight.”
