The audacity to claim to be "leading the world on climate change".

That's an unhelpful statement, to say the least. If it's just as necessary to dig ditches as conduct scientific research, then the diggers would be paid at least enough to sustain themselves. But on top of that, scientists aren't exactly well compensated, either.
Honestly, I'm surprised that anyone would regurgitate that "life is hard" rhetoric anymore. I understand why Sunak would want people to think that's the only reason this shit is happening, but if you're not in the ruling class and have a vested interest in maintaining your privilege, why would you say that?

First HSBC, now Linehan. Ayoade really knows which causes to put his name to.
I honestly can't believe that using this word unironically has caught on. Everything I think is just a stupid joke on the internet turns out to be the internet reflecting just how idiotic humanity really is.
Either that, or just an unpleasant shock at just how 'mask-off' some people have become.

Still sounds catchier than, “I feel like a month’s rent”.
And those are the worst ones
Is any career sustainable anymore?
Still no agenda on the taskbar calendar flyout. So, no.
I agree, the comment is extremely off-base. I hope anyone that reads that advice also sees your comment underneath it, the advice itself is extremely poor and likely to be counter productive.
