Everything I’ve learned about this man has been against my will

Finally I can ditch outlook and still have a nice UI!

Looks like chromeOS a bit.

Please take care of yourself. We seriously appreciate you and everything you've done, same goes for all other staff. This past week has immensely stressful across the lemmyverse and no one blames you at all for needing to tap out from all this. A lot of people are expecting lemmy and lemmy instances to be like reddit 2.0, but that's just not humanly possible. It also feels like lemmy as a software has had it personally out for beehaw... kind of like a murphy's law situation.

It depends on the instance in my experience. Beehaw is a good one though, I feel.

Which apps are specifically turning into fediverse apps? Very curious.

Here's to hoping microsoft decides to allow them to move on over to lemmy.

Like I said, it will backfire. When people get refused service for MAGA hats or because of being Christian they will throw a fit but they dug the hole for themselves here.

It’s awful and I agree though. It’s disgusting and the cruelty is the point. But the way this is going to be use against them is going to make things so messy and petty.

This was to be expected like most other decisions that came out today but still disappointing nonetheless. Only serves to show just how much public confidence for the US surprise court as a viable institution has gone out the window due to how little surprise there is.

Apologies if this is the wrong community for this! Feel free to delete if it is.

Also, this is a big blow to lgbt anti discrimination but it also is a blow to a lot of others as well The way this decision is going to backfire and the fact it will be able to applied against not just lgbt people has not been thought through, at all.

This is unreal. She's been accused of years of grooming minors for those unaware. The allegations she's facing as well as those around her is intense, with potential legal consequences in the making. Major content warning to those who seek out articles on the matter, of course. She's had a pretty successful Netflix show, and I believe a Broadway show as well? She's a pretty early OG youtuber.

So... she decided to whip out a ukelele and start playing a song for an apology after days of increasingly being under fire. I never thought that a worse Influencer apology would ever be made, but she did it.

Apologies if this isn't a good community to post by the way, I just haven't seen any discussion of this on here yet and I just need to bask in just how baffling it is.

It still feels very bad to implement in this medical setting whatsoever right now in its current state. Not to be a luddite, but it's just far too risky no matter how small it may be in that industry. I know it's a given and it's already being done regardless though.

I'm sorry did I read this shit right? It's coming to what? And doing what? This is the worst possible application. This is going to end up killing someone, especially with the bias that is already extremely prevalent in medicine. I hope Microsoft and Nuance are prepared for the potential of roping themselves into a landmark AI biomedical ethics court case.

Decided to try my hand at color work for the first time in crochet. Dreading weaving it all in at the very end, but it looks so pretty so far. I'm excited to give it to my grandma when it's done, I know she's gonna love it! I plan on doing a fancy white border around once its done.

Man... :( (Also for transparency, I chose npr illinois bc it has the least intrusive ads and layoutof all sources I found.)

I mainly use imgur to upload screenshots using sharex, would appreciate being pointed in the direction of any alternative.
