You think nine months before an election is enough time to change a massive establishment like the DNC? Presidential campaigns take years of planning before candidates even announce their running.

You think a small percentage of voters in a few states whose only message is "Don't vote for Biden" is the kind of action we need to "change the game"? If this is the kind of action lemmy progressives expect to take and make meaningful strides towards progress it's absolutely no surprise nothing actually gets done. Maybe do something useful besides spreading fasicts voter suppression talking points and maybe start now instead of February 2028.

Unfortunately progressives are a very small percentage of the electorate and have proven time and time again they aren't going to show up to vote. In fact progressives so rarely show up that they've effectively removed themselves as members of the electorate.

If you're an eligible voter and didn't vote for Harris you looked at Trump style facism and decided you were okay with it. Don't blame other people for your choices.

The actual question that 72% of Democrats support:

Do you support more Democrats like Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez who are calling on Democrats to adopt a more aggressive stance towards Trump and his administration and “fight harder”, or moderate Democrats who are willing to compromise on Trump issues important to their base?

The question is "do you want to fight Trump more" not "do you support AOC and Bernies progressive agenda".

Democratic flavored genocide wasn't enough for the Lemmy progressives so they aggressively campaigned for Trump to really ramp things up.

He won with less than 30% of the populations vote because most Americans decided facism wasn't that bad so they stayed home. People who didn't vote for Harris or encouraged others not to vote for Harris looked at what Trump was selling and decided they'd like to buy.
