This app is great. Thanks.

Nyaa.Land is my goto for manga torrents but I can't find what I'm looking for (OG Astro Boy) there. The Eng translation of the original torrents is dead.

Are there any other good sites for torrenting manga? I couldn't find anything in the Megathread.

Do they smell good when they do this?

[–] gwilikers@lemmy.ml 14 points 3 days ago

Yeah they'll arrest at random and show the brazen cruel incompetent inconsistency of the law. (I live in a country that does this).

Yes but Lua is like veggie soup for the soul :)

I feel like this is less of a problem with having a dog/cat and more of a problem with having psychos in your life.

Awh. I was gonna go with Floorp on the name alone. Great name...

Is that the difference between when something like Google Maps has your general location and when it has your specific location?

That statements is actually infused with some racial epithets.

Nice. What language did you use to make the bot?

Is Japanese curry basically like the curry you would get from a chipper in the UK?

Vi is actually a predecessor to Vim but many people, myself included, will alias Nvim or Vim to Vi. And I've seen people use Vi as a catch all too.

This video genuinely came off as satire to me. Like 'If you spend, $20 more you can reduce the sum total suffering of this animal (before we kill it) while still giving money to us (the very corporations that engage in those practices). That is, if any of these labels even mean anything (which they don't).'

Like, the premise of, 'I don't like it when animals suffer so how can we make them suffer less (while still suffering cuz I like to eat meat)' is such an morally bankrupt starting point for an argument.

I appreciate that they highlighted the insane cruelty of factory farms on a popular channel but ffs if your going to mention the importance of individual purchasing power in determining market trends and not say 'You could also, y'know, just not fucking eat animal products,' then I feel like the arguments you're making are a bit spineless.

I don't like using reddit. But sometimes I have to while looking something up. However, I get this message when I have Mullvad turned on that reads You've been blocked by network security.

How do I bypass this? Changing VPN locations doesn't seem to affect it. I don't want to turn my VPN off for reddit.

I'm currently working on a project in C where I have a choice between using a library for hash tables or simply creating my own hash table from scratch.

What would look better on a Github portfolio from an employability perspective?

I currently have a load of pirated games and I'm considering moving my systems to Linux cuz Windows is ass. Would this make it difficult to run pirated games?

What software have you found particularly frustrating or difficult to configure on Linux?

I've noticed a general sentiment that printing on Linux is (or at least was) extremely cumbersome and difficult. Why is that?

I'm sure there are orgs that audit FOSS code for security and privacy. Could you guys let me know what some of the main orgs that do this? Do you have any ones you like in particular.

I see a lot of options on Fdroid. Which one do you guys like the most?

Looking for a good FOSS Matrix clisnt. What's your favourite and why?

5 minute ad breaks every 15 minutes kinda ruin the experience.

Brendan Metcalfe's intro series to list comprehensions is one of the best I've come across. In addition to showing how to use them, he compares it to other similar methods and shows why LCs can be more effective. Wanted to share his stuff here.
