First off I want to say that chrome doesn't support external apps opening incognito tabs anymore, so the button to do so just opens up a normal chrome tab (chrome still has the flag to allow external apps to open incognito chrome custom tabs, but removed the flag to actually enable incognito chrome custom tabs so it does nothing). Secondly, can you make it so we can choose the browser to use in the settings instead of relying on the users system default? I have chrome set on mine due to some of the apps/sites that I use misbehaving with other browsers, but some apps i just prefer to use a separate browser for.

Oh yeah no lol. I'm running stock android.

I'm on a Google pixel, so not sure what the answer to that would be.

Hey just wanted to say that the "open links" still works in android 15. I just tried it out myself and it worked flawlessly. It seems a little janky if the app isn't already open though. If the app isn't open when you click a supported link it still opens but just spits you out on the default page. If the app is open though it works flawlessly.

Good to know! I got it pushed to me last night since I'm on the beta branch, but it's good to know it's pushed to everyone now.

Sweet! Now we wait for the google play store to actually push the update. Should be any moment now.

Lots of nice QOL changes and fixes in this. Is there any rough ETA yet? I know you're sick, so absolutely understandable if you don't. Rest up and feel better soon man, you're doing gods work for this platform.

Yeah that's understandable. Forgot they were client side.

I just noticed that the limit for multicommunities is 30, which seems really low. Is there a technical reason besides the potential lag? If not, is it possible to get a setting to remove the limit?

In any other Lemmy client it would have taken ages for this to be seen by the dev, let alone actually fixed. Thanks man, keep up the great work! I want to support you but I can't afford to do a Patreon sub right now, have you considered something like Kofi for small donations?

Edit: I'm blind, I just found your Kofi link.

Happened again last night but with the comment screen. It doesn't appear to be specifically related to videos.

~~By default boost checks for notifications every hour. You can change it in the settings. ~~

Ignore me, I'm blind. You literally said you changed the settings already.

The "NSFW mode" isn't honored in the "You" tab and all the subtabs within it (such as saved, upvotes, down votes etc.) so it falls back to whatever your master NSFW setting is (in my case blur).

The same thing happened to me yesterday when I was browsing community after community in an instance. The app got very laggy and right before it froze entirely I got the bug. I doubt this is any more useful though, just thought I would mention it anyway.

I love your app! It has everything except the ability to swipe while in the post detail view to go to the next post. Is that possible for you to add? That one thing would make this app perfect.
