My brother in Christ that's how hormone-based research works. It's not only to look at possible health risks in the case of average people, you include people on hormone therapy, but also cis people who naturally have wonky hormones and what that can mean for them in the context of what is studied. Usually, in medicine, you're supposed to be thorough, and try to cover most of the population and find any discrepancies.

Jokes on you, bringing back dodos is an objectively better idea 😎

Yeah. About as expected. Must be really easy for the government to force minority workers to be fired with the excuse that "they're just undoing DEI". Because of course, no minority ever deserves their position anywhere /s jfc...

Not to mention Melon Husk is VERY disingenuous about how much money he's supposedly saving

Besides the fact that the hunting hypothesis is that; a hypothesis, there's a lot of other factors as to why it isn't a good idea. Mainly, ohh idk... The fact that they have had no place in nature in over tens of thousands of years? Even if we managed to create an artificial habitat and role in an ecosystem for them, they would be very vulnerable due to megafauna's increased minimum land requirements because of their size and in danger constantly due to climate change.

And the most annoying part is that this is incredibly fcking useless. Wooly mammoths went extinct for a reason. Large animals are becoming less and less evolutionary preferred. Wooly mammoths are adjusted for the cold while our globe is warming.

Can we just use our fcking resources for things that matter?????

The fact that we're in the age of tech overlords and in some places people and "medical professionals" STILL don't know the basics of female anatomy is fcking baffling.

Virginity tests are BS. Not everyone has a hymen. Sometimes your hymen breaks doing random sex-unrelated shit. Jfc.

Even if they posted the link without checking, that's still so incredibly fcking stupid and incompetent it hurts

Exactly as the title says: what the fuck.

I don't know if this website has already been posted here, but I love it so much. I've spent hours reading the reviews and the fights in the comments, everything about this is pure gold.

What kind of owl do you think it's gonna be? :0

I've taken a look at Peertube in the past and I remember finding some genuinely cool instances and creators... but I promptly forgot them and neglected to write it down, dingus as I am.

Although I'm looking for science/tech/environmental and educational instances and creators, feel free to mention any that you enjoy ^^

This has probably been asked before but I wanted to add another layer/an alternative.

So, I ask, where did your username/pseudonym/nickname originate from? What's the meaning behind it?

Or alternatively, which is the most creative/interesting nickname origin you have come across?

For the most part I've been optimistic when it comes to the future of AI, in the sense that I convinced myself that this was something we could learn to manage over time, but every single time I hop online to platforms besides fediverse-adjacent ones, I just get more and more depressed.

I have stopped using major platforms and I don't contribute to them anymore, but as far as I've heard no publically accessible data - even in the fediverse - is safe. Is that really true? And is there no way to take measures that isn't just waiting for companies to decide to put people, morals and the environment over profit?
