Does having an old account really get you any respect on reddit though? I feel like at least as often there's some disdain for your having wasted so much time there.

This is a news piece not an editorial. "Editorial line" means they have a publicly shared opinion on what's happening, not that they're not doing hard news.

"Low-key" as in he's found a relatively low-key way to defy a judge's order. Any kind of defying a judge's order is of course a very dramatic action.

How so? They obviously have an editorial line but they never make any factual claims that aren't true.

I know that's what drives me crazy too. As opposed to a lot of harmful conservative policies that are clearly motivated by a desire to look out for the interests of the wealthy or pander to xenophobes, the anti-vaxx stuff is just pure contagious madness.
