France is a police state in which citizens are all suspects. Cryptography was illegal until 1996 outside of government/military use and it's one of the worst countries for any hobbyist who needs to use radio frequencies, fly stuff around or even mere street photography. This law will make it easier for the government to crackdown on anyone using encrypted messaging as a pretext to arrest them or put them under surveillance.

Note that the current interior minister and his predecessor both are vile fascist scum.

Yup, pretty much every province now has a good choice of local brews. It's sad we have stupid interprovincial trade barriers because I wouldn't mind a case of Boréale or Quidi Vidi once in a while, although we have choice too in Ontario. Beer is proof the universe loves us.

The big US and Canadian brands all taste like ass but there's thousands of small breweries that make very yummy nectar. Personally I prefer German and Belgian brews.

Re-playing Half-Life 2 with the massive update. Still a great game.

Just like you, I switched to LAN mode and I'm using Orca anyway. Gonna wait for it to blow over, it's still a great printer for the price but next one will most likely be Prusa. I'm still happy with my A1M+AMS, it's a great introduction to the hobby as far as I'm concerned. It's disappointing to see Bambulab behaving that way, I hope they change course.

It's a much vulgar version of the much older "je m'en tamponne le coquillard", the literal translation being "I'm patting my privates with it" meaning "I don't care."

There's a famous song "Les nuits d'une demoiselle" by Colette Renard with lyrics in periphrases all describing sexual self-satisfaction using French language twists and vocabulary. A real gem!

Turns out more than half the country has one.

Turns out your new president kinda wants to put that half in shackles, too.
