Please will you tell me how to decide on his guilt?

[–] [email protected] 2 points 2 years ago (3 children)

Are you confusing me for somebody else?

The only statement I’ve made is that he’s been accused of heinous wrong-doing and the court room is the right place to decide on his guilt.

How else would you do it?

Well, given that your common sense has failed you here, maybe it’s worth asking yourself where else it could fail?

What do you base that opinion on?

Says somebody. Let it go through the courts.

However, much research shows the hand banging against the wall period is required for you to achieve the morning breakthrough.

The sleeping break is where your neurons form new connections based their activity yesterday. The “thinking hard” and the frustration is a required part of the morning epiphany.

God I love programming.

At this point I think it would help interest rates and a great many other indicators if Britain adopted the Euro. Shit, it’s not like our economy is booming. Sick man of Europe and all that.

I mean almost all websites fall foul of that. You often have to bury deep and end up with a palette of complicated choices and acceptances of individual tracking companies. It’s a bloody mess. The EU should just have mandated “do not track” adherence. There’s already a standard; just enforce it.

We worked with a business unit to predict how many people they would migrate on to their new system week 1-2 … they controlled the migration through some complicated salesforce code they had written.

We were told “half a million first week”. We reserved capacity to be ready to handle the onslaught.

8000 appeared week 1.

Yup it’s the cross contamination that’s the killer.

It would be a nigh-on 99% “treatment” if coeliacs could tolerate tiny amounts of gluten, as it would allow you to just say “swap these ingredients”. Instead you enter a restaurant and you have to have a deep interrogation on how their kitchen functions; what goes where, bla bla. And if I have to explain, even one more time, that gluten doesn’t “burn off in an oven” I’ll scream.

With great respect I believe that to be a gross simplification of what an LLMs does. There is no training set stored in the LLM, only statistics about what word set is likely to follow what word set. There is not regurgitation of the date - if that was the case, they temperature parameter wouldn’t matter when it very much does.

Are you sure?

And I don’t mean the sarcastically or snidely.

I’ve met a fair share of people who seems to be nothing more than an LLM.

Three posts, across the fediverse, point to exactly the same link, with the same post text.

I would just love it if wefwef could collapse these into one (“Seen in 3 communities”) and then collapse the comments into one mega-thread.
