Thank you for the help. My current arrangement, as I described, seems to have worked so far. Thank you!

Last night it was easier to sleep. After rearranging the layout of the bedroom, I read a bit in bed... I was able to fall asleep an hour earlier than before.

Thank you so much everybody, you've definitely helped.

Take care, and long live the fediverse!

Following the YouTube video and your guidelines, I may be able to place my bed's head to the West. Is that good if it avoids the line of sight to the door, stands against a wall and I can see the window to the right?

I'll also check the mattress

Edit: clarification

What's a good sleep hygiene? No electronics before bed time? Does tv count? Should I read a book? But then I become engrossed in it and don't sleep.

Thank you

Edit: damn auto complete!

What about having the head of the bed on the same wall where the window is, but not in front of it? But facing the door unfortunately. Can I put something between bed and door along the wall to stop throat energy?

Thank you so much, you are all very friendly and helpful!

Edit: typo

In fact, the YouTuber called my current arrangement the death position... 😕

Thank you, very interesting. Unfortunately the YouTuber didn't match the exact conditions of my door and window placement... Last night I changed orientation of bed head to southeast and at least I could fall asleep better. But it's on the line of sight of the door...

For those versed in Feng shui (please, no internet researchers) what is the right Cardinal directions the head of a bed should be oriented to? I've been having sleeping problems, and I had it oriented north-west. Searching the web says south-east it's the ideals direction, but again, nowadays I don't know what sites are ai-generated.

If you can give me a link to a website that may have this information, or have an answer, I'll be forever thankful.

Take care everybody
